Miya's POV

I and Madi arrived school in less that 30 minutes.

"Act totally Madi"she reminded . We both got off the car and immediately alot of people smiled at me and gave me nice stares. I saw Madi walking by my side but people pointed at her and laughed.

The way she acted care -free was soo amazing... she moved gracefully in my body. I could barely move without my head down

"Keep your ... I mean MY head held UP!" She stated with annoyance.

"Ohhh u-uhm s-sorry" I replied. Things felt weird as I saw a lot of people staring at me. My palms began to feel sweaty but I managed to hide it.

Madison's POV

I walked over to my locker and was about to bring out my biology note when I heard a voice from the other side.

"Whatever it was you took from that locker,put it back!" Jazz mentioned with her arms folded against her chest.

I just stood there looking at them. Not knowing what to say.

" Didn't you hear what she said? She said put whatever you took out back!" Keth repeated as she moved closer. I quietly dropped it back and rolled my eyes.

" And just so you know, you still smell like soured puddin" Keth said before I moved to the class finally .

I hated the fact that I couldn't be able to talk like my usual self for some time. And were these glasses always this itchy?... jeezz.

I finally got to biology class and went to with with Jazz and Keth . They stared at me with amazement. They were shocked at the audacity I had to sit there but I didn't budge.

Miya's POV

I thought of sitting with keth and Jazz for biology as that was only logical . I entered the class and saw Madi already there. Well that would most definitely make them suspicious but oh well.

I went to sit with Lis and she looked at me as though I was am alien .

" What are you doing here ?"

" meet me after school by the lockers " I whispered .

" what ?... you must think I'm stupid or sumn" she muttered as she laughed

" No really I've got something important to tell you... so after school "

" Madison... Miya could you both please return to your science seats"

We both switched places without hesitation .

" I can't believe she could come to school today after what happened to her yesterday. What should we do to her today " Jazz whispered to me.i just smiled and immediately concentrated on the teacher.

" my pudding samples have gone missing and we'll just have to skip unto the next chapter" Mrs David informed us " now who can explain what mimicry is? " she asked .

" Ms. Gonzales could you please answer the question.

I hesitated for a while before I realized.

" O- oh m- me" i asked shyly. I took a deep breath before I began " mimicry is a similarity between two animals usually a harmful and less harmful one ... giving them an advantage in the ecosystem ".

Keth and Jazz stared at me with their mouths wide - opened . They just couldn't believe it.

" I guess that was actually corect Madi" Mrs. David exclaims taken aback too.

" So--"

" uhmmm Mrs. David... like can one creature turn into another creature for just no reason like can i just wake up and be a rat one day? " Madi cut in.

The whole class burst into laughter.

" y'all laughed but that is absolutely possible"

I could hear gasps from all round the class .

" like a butterfly for instance " Mrs. David continued " it spends a good amount of it's life being a caterpillar before it cocoons and turns into a butterfly. If you had never known you might be thinking it was completely not possible .

" uhm can you like put someone else's t-thoughts into another body... like is it possible " I added in

" In that case it's not possible. Several experiments have been carried out over the years to try this out but none have given positive results so far" she said finally.

She takes for about 30 minutes more and I chipped in a word or two where necessary which further amazed Mrs. David.

*Gringggg!!*

"Well I guess this marks the end of our class today...see you all in our next class "

Madison's POV

I walked to a table during lunch time still confused about how a lot could happen in such a short time. I picked up my phone and was about to go live before I realized that I wasn't me.

I just typed

~I hate Miya Dobes 😬~

and uploaded it before dropping my phone. I picked up my phone again and typed again.

~ I'm not myself today so don't listen to whatever I do or say madiates...xoxo"

I dropped the phone suddenly feeling better a bit. I saw Lisa walk towards my table with a lunch tray and sat down beside me. Our eyes met and she smiled weirdly.

" you can't sit with me " I told her

" hunh?"

"Look-" I began before i was cut short by Miya.

" Hi Lis " Miya said as her and my minions walking towards the table I was sitting in and made themselves comfortable.

" I think there's a glitch in your system" Lisa informed Miya as she rolled her eyeballs .

" Sabotage time...?" Jazz asked with a big smile on her fAce .

" umm... hey why don't we all just try and be friends " Miya mentioned smiling

" That is not going to be happening soon " I fired at her.

" Don't worry ... we'll never be friends with you ... you both are like .Losers" Jazz added as she puked at the idea .

" No we aren't " Miya added.

" yes you are" I added in ... as I gave out a snotty laugh.

"Hey ! Who are we talking about " Keth added with a confused expression.

" uhh I'm serious " Miya added" Maybe we should just try to be friends "

How dare she feel like she had the ability to change my perspective because she was in MY body ... anger finer inside of me but I decided to keep my cool.

"Meet. Me. Outside. Now. " I said with anger written all over me as I stood up and began to walk to the door.

" uhm... excuse me" Miya said as she walked away from the table.
