Life hadn't been so great recently.

Firstly, it had been two weeks and two days since hogs head.
Also two weeks and three days since Ron and Margo's fight.

Since then Ron had seemed to be completely successful in avoiding Margo. But it was hard since he sat next to her in potions four times a week. On top of that Ron had decided to cancel their tutoring, making him fall behind immensely. Just when his grades were starting to increase he threw it all away like an angry child.

But snape wasn't having any of it. So when Ron proclaimed and demanded that tutoring would no longer be happening Snape took it upon himself to place Ron and Margo into two week's detention. Every single night they had to sit in that cold dungeon, sometimes rearranging bug corpses, or polishing the array of Spider eyes.

Neither spoke a word to each other during that time.

Margo was furious with Ron, was he really that childish, that self-centred that he really couldn't handle being passed worksheets twice a week in a library. But she had bottled it up, deciding that getting angry at him would just double the detention days.

Sadly, the anger was starting to overflow, like a pan full of hot water, the bubbles were getting higher, the foam inching close and closer to the surface.

Yesterday was there last day of the long and gruelling detentions. Margo had expected that once it was over the sky would turn blue and the dull, depressing feeling that had been weighing in her stomach would vanish. But boy was she wrong.

The next morning may have been the worst yet, tears streaking her face, her under eye bags so dark you would guess someone had rubbed charcoal on them.

The thought of not having any other reason to see Ron anymore was messing with her mind, it was like she missed him. But she couldn't miss him, she hated Ron. Didnt she?

Luckily Juliette was there to actually get her out of bed. Since Juliette had arrived the two had become in a way inseparable. Since Juliette had only made friends with Margo and a few other in her house so far, sticking to her was a necessity. On top of that they got along like a house on fire, Juliette was the only one who had made Margo actually smile these last two weeks.

Angelica not so much, Margo didn't really talk to her. Sure they shared a room and sat at the same table but not one conversation had been conversed between the pair. Juliette said it was for the best as Angelica was just a 'toxic bitch who will pin point your faults and annihilate you from the inside'. So Margo had steered clear of that one.

Anyway it wasn't like Angelica was nice to Margo, quite the opposite. The glares Angelica would give her were quite disturbing, even more so knowing Angelica didn't even know Margo.

All these thoughts riddled Margo's mind as she sat in the great hall, picking at her morning porridge lightly. Not even noticing as Juliette pulled funny faces at her from across the room, to wrapped up in her own mind.

The room was to tiresome for laughter, so Margo couldn't understand why people were laughing and cheering when life was so bleak. She sat next to Dean, who continued to force her to eat the porridge layed in front of her, threatening to not help her in the history of magic test if she didn't eat half.

Everyone could tell something was up with Margo, it was hard to miss. The once cheery and bright bouncy gryfinndor had turned into a quiet, sorrowful girl. Who kept her head down and only spoke when spoken to.

But Margo wasn't the only person acting this way. Ronald Weasleys mood had also plummeted the last few weeks. He may have been as if not more noticeable with change in demeanour.
