"You have to talk to Ron."

2.5k words

previously- "I want to be with you to Ron. But it's too late for that now. " She turned back around, giving him one last pitiful smile as a tear run down her crimson cheek. "I need you to understand, I love you Ron, that's why i'm walking away."

"Juliette I don't know what to do."

Margo was currently sat on the floor in moaning Myrtle's bathroom, legs scrunched to her chest. Juliette sat opposite her, head resting against one of the many porcelain sinks.

The room was quiet. Margo out of breath from reciting her and Ron's argument to Juliette. She knew she shouldn't have pulled Juliette out of the Great Hall and into the bathroom, she knew it was a bad idea, but she needed her best friend.

She hadn't told anyone what happened between her and Ron, and that all had gone down a week and a half ago. Margo was on the edge of bursting, desperate for someone to know, so she told Juliette.

"Well how's Ron acting? Has he been fine?" Juliette asked, Margo could tell she had no idea what to say, no advice bouncing off the top of her head like it usually did. How could it, love and death wasn't always the easiest topic.

Margo sat and pondered to herself, Ron had been everything but fine. He hadn't been easy to deal with, she had found how persistent the boy truly was. Anytime she turned a corner, it felt like he was there. Anytime she walked into the common room, library, kitchen... He was there.

"He's like a stalker. Every step I take he's ten steps ahead." She sighed, rubbing the her hands against her temples.  Juliette tilted her head to the side, pity in her eyes, she could see how tired Margo was getting.

"Maybe he just wants to talk to you."

"Yeah maybe..."

"And maybe you want to talk to him." Juliette said simply, kicking her foot against Margo's, her subtle way of comfort. Margo groaned loudly, face falling to her knees.

"Of course I want to talk to him Jules, god the only thing I want Is to talk to him. But I can't- I can't, i can't, i'm not ready for what entails afterwards. Im not prepared for the aftermath." She vented.

Juliette just sat there, listening. "God I've missed you Margo." She smiled at her.

Margo looked up, a small smile raising on her own face. "I've missed you to Jules."

They kept smiling at each other, just enjoying one another's company, it had been awhile since they'd done that. But just like that, Juliettes face fell, a frown suddenly appearing, Margo mirrored.

"Listen Margo, you'll never be ready for the aftermath, but if you continue to hideaway from it, your life will be guided by fear. Sometime's you've just got to say fuck it, and survive."

Margo guessed that Juliette didn't know the weight of her words, 'survive'. That was going to be more difficult than expected.
