"Hop-to solders! Those laps aren't 'bout to run themselves!"

Gasping for air as she ran, a h/c girl pushed on, the setting sun still baking the cadets from above. Not being able to run any longer, she placed her hands on her knees, breathing in the hot air. After a few moments she stood up, noticing the lack of cadets around her. 'Hadn't they been here a few minutes ago?' She shrugged it off, along with some sweat from her forehead. Sighing, the girl turned around, bumping into something. With closed eyes, she rubbed her forehead. 'I don't remember a wall being there..'

"Hey, watch it wouldja?"

'A talking wall?' She opened her eyes after what felt like an eternity. 'No,' she rolled her eyes. 'A talking horse.

"Last I checked, I can't see behind me. What are you doin' just standing there anyway? Stalker much.." The last part was muttered so the other couldn't hear, but reading his expression, anyone can tell he heard her. He grabbed her up by the collar of her shirt, something she wasn't expecting. He raised his fist to hit her. "What'd you just say?! Say it to my face, bitch," His fist rained down on the girl's s/c face, bruising almost immediately, yet she didn't so much as flinch. This angered the horse face, as he brought his fist down upon her once more, before dropping her. "Tch, worthless idiot.." He began to walk away.

The scuffing of clothes and dirt could be heard as she stood, making him turn towards her once again. She was gone. 'Wh-.. She can't be gone that fast..' He turned around again, ready to head to the mess hall, but he bumped into something.

"Hey, watch it, would ya?" She lunged at him, hands curled into fists. She tackled him around the waist, pinning him with her weight. She started to wail on him, showing no mercy. In a hysterical voice she yelled at the top of her lungs. "Hasn't your mother-" she paused as she punched him. "ever- taught you- manners?!" She finished off with a punch. She wiped her nose with her arms, as her knuckles had been bloodied. "Don't bite off more than you can chew," she stood up from the defeated male, staring down at him. He just glared right back. She sneered, kicking him once more before leaving him.

"... Stupid horse-face.."

Next Day in the Mess Hall

"Wow Y/n! You really kicked Jean's ass yesterday!" A boy with short brown hair praised. The girl only snorted.

"Jaeger," She looked at the brown haired boy.

"Yeah? What is it?" Y/n just pointed across the mess hall, gesturing to a certain sandy blonde with a puffy eye. "Shut up or you're next."

"G-got it," the boy squeaked out nervously.

"Good." She smiled at him warmly eating the rest of her gruel and quail eggs.
