I woke up the next morning without Tristan on the other side of the bed. He left early for work today. I sighed a little before I crawled out of bed. It was a little painful to walk, since what we'd done last night was pretty harsh. I walked towards my bathroom and took a look at myself in the mirror. My lips were as red and swollen as my eyes and my hair was a total mess. I gently stroke the bottom of my lips with one of my fingers, my mouth a little open. It felt hard to breath at first but it was the ordinary.

I took my clothes off to take a shower and it was then I saw them. The bruises were all over my body, even on my stomach. They wasn't as much as times before but it still hurt. I felt tears burning in my eyes and cursed myself for letting them fall down my cheeks. I quickly wiped them off with my upper hand as I walked into the shower.

One hour later, I parked my car by the store. I saw Amber at the cashier with a young girl who was paying for some records. I locked the car and walked into the store. Amber smiled and thanked the young girl before she saw me. She smiled at first before she got a worried look on her face.

"Oh my-, honey what happened to you?" she asked as I walked towards her. Apparently the makeup I've tried to cover it with was not that good. "Have you been in a fight with someone?". I managed a smile and shook my head a little.

"Just an allergic reaction to a face mask," I lied as I made my hair into a bun. "How did it go yesterday?" I asked to change the subject. Amber still got the worried look on her face as she spoke.

"It was great, are you sure you're okay?". I nodded and gave her a smile. "Promise to tell me if somethings wrong?". I nodded again and have her a hug.

"'Course darling," I said before we began to organize the records.

Luke had his day off, which means that it could be hard for me and Audrey to keep up if there were going to be a lot of customers. But we were wrong. After the counting that day, only twenty people had been here, most of them not buying anything.

"Wanna put something on?" I asked Amber as she cleaned the new shelves. She shook her head as she took a piece of a chocolate bar and put it in her mouth.

"You choose something," she said with her mouth full of chocolate. I laughed a little as I picked up Rumors by Fleetwood Mac. They never disappoint you. I start humming and dancing around a bit, making Amber dance on the other side of the store. After a time of goofing around, we finished the shelves together to get done early.

"See ya tomorrow!" Amber said as she walked towards the entrance. I told her that I could to the closing tonight again. "Take care, I love ya honey!".

"I love you too, see ya!" I said as she closed the glass doors behind her. I let out a little sigh as I pulled out my phone from my pocket.

Tristan:
Babe, send nudes

I rolled my eyes a little and let out a sigh.

Me:
I'm sorry I can't, I'm at work.
Love you, I'll send some later

Tristan:
Fine, love u too

I let out a sigh and turned my phone off. Still one hour to go. There was now a record by David Bowie streaming music through the store. I decided to put up some new posters on the wall we ordered a few weeks ago.

As I stood on the stool, trying to get the posters to stick on the wall, the doors opened and the man in a leather jacket from yesterday walked in. I turned my head around and he gave me a little smirk.

"Am I interrupting ya?" he said as I got down from the stool I was standing on. He walked closer to me and took off his sunglasses. It was like the time stopped for a while when my eyes met his. Those deep, brown eyes that shine in the light from the lamps. He smiled a little at me as I came back from my daydreaming. He suddenly got a worried look on his face. "Something happened to ya?" he asked as he looked at my swollen face. Shit.
