As we walked down the street, I couldn't help but feel comfortable with Alex and Jamie. They've talked about the band they're playing in and their music. They've asked me a million times about myself and my life. Even though I tell them the most boring things, they seem to really listen.
"So, there a few people inside here that we think you would like," Alex said as we walked into Paul's bar. I looked up to him and nodded.
"I just don't wanna be a bother so tell me if I should go," I said with a concerned look on my face. Alex and Jamie laughed a little before Jamie put his arms around my shoulder, giving me a little hug from the side.
"Yer not a bother, love," he said. "They'll love ya". I nodded a little to myself as we walked towards a table with a sofa around it where all the people I was about to meet was.
"Everyone, this is Clara," Alex said with a smile on his face, now with the sunglasses covering his eyes. "Clara, this is Nick, Matt, Miles and Jameh's girlfriend Katie". They all waved to me and smiled. I personally greeted everyone one by one.
"Welcome to the family, Clara," Miles said as he kissed my hand. I giggled a little and thanked him. Matt and Nick was very lovely and when I came to Katie, she jumped up and hugged me. I inhaled the her scent as she had a tight grip around me.
"It's so nice to meet you," she said as we pulled away to face each other. "C'mon, let's go to the bar and get you some drinks". I smiled as she took my hand and we began walking towards the bar.
"Oh my god, you are so gorgeous," Katie said and I felt how my cheeks turned red.
"Oh stop it," I said with a smile on my face. "You are absolutely stunning". Katie gave me a warm smile before we hooked arms. I've never felt this welcomed by anyone before.
"Is it just me or do you get a feeling that we're gonna be like sisters?" she said with a smile on her face that lighted up the whole room. I smile back and nodded.
"Of course we are," I said as we got the drinks from the bartender. We made our way back to everybody else while asking each other about our lives.
As a few hours passed by, Katie, Miles and I had talked almost the whole time. It was really nice to get to know new people, even though it was very spontaneous. I caught Alex look at me with a little smirk on his lips before he said:
"Anyone up for a game?". Everyone looked at each other and nodded as more drinks arrived to our table. The game basically went out on to drink as much as possible, and after two hours, almost everyone was drunk. Katie and I decided to dance with Miles and Matt as the three others remained at the table. Katie and I had our arms around each other's shoulders as we giggled and laughed.
"I bet that you look good on the dance floor," my drunk self said to Alex before we walked away. His cheeks turned red, making me giggle.
We danced for another hour. By this time, no one knew what time or even what day it was. After dancing and spinning around, I felt how I started to get really dizzy. I told Katie that I just wanted to sit down for a while. She nodded and told me to call on her if I weren't feeling good. I walked towards the table again, now with only Alex sitting by it.
"Hello stranger," I said as I sat down on the sofa beside him. He gave me a smile and moved a glass of water towards me. I looked up to him as he placed the glass in my hands.
"You're not drinking tonight," I said as he let out a little chuckle. He shook his head and forcing me to drink the water.
"Not tonight, no," he said with a smile on his face. I nodded to as I put the glass down and ran my fingers through my hair.
