"I'm home!" I yelled as I entered my apartment, knowing Tristan was here.
"I'm in the kitchen!" Tristan yelled back as I took off my jacket. I made my way towards the kitchen with the bag of groceries in my arms. As I entered the kitchen, I found Tristan sitting by the table, working on his computer.
"Hey babe," I said as I walked up to him, giving his cheek a kiss. "How was your day?". Tristan sighed a little, looking at his watch as he stood up from the chair.
"Busy," he said as he walked up to me to help with the groceries. I nodded and gave him a quick kiss on his lips.
"Well, the party is in one hour so we gotta leave soon," I said as I made my way towards the bathroom to take a shower.
"Clara, you done?" Tristan yelled from the hall.
"I'm coming baby!" I answered as I put the earrings in my ears. I took one last look in the mirror, not that satisfied with the end result before I walked towards the door. I met Tristan who stood there with a stressed look on his face.
"You know you have to get ready earlier if you don't wanna be late," he said as I grabbed my coat. I nodded and grabbed the keys.
"Okay, I'm sorry," I said as I tried to give Tristan a kiss when he backed a step.
"I don't wanna have lipstick all over my face," he said, making my heart sink a little. Everything seemed to go well with his mood until now.
As we got out of the car, Tristan grabbed my hand and we made our way towards Alex's doors. We walked in and almost got chocked of the house being completely full of people. Everybody was dancing and having a good time. It almost looked like an grownup college party.
"You're here!" a voice said and I saw Breana, Katie and Kelly. A smile crept onto my face as I ran up to them, greeting them all with a big hug. Tristan walked after me, looking bored.
"You all look so good tonight!" I said as they all gave me warmly smiles.
"Look at yourself, darling," Kelly said. "You look absolutely stunning". I smiled to her as I felt how I started blushing. Tristan walked up to me, wrapping one arm around my waist. I looked up at him and then back to the girls.
"Oi!" Miles yelled as he run up to me, wrapping me in his arms. I gave out a chuckle as we pulled away from each other.
"Hi Miles," I said with a smile on my face. "How are ya?". Miles smiled and patted me on my shoulder.
"I'm all good love," he said. "By the way, Alex is lookin' for ya". I nodded and said goodbye to them for the moment and grabbed Tristans hand. We walked through the long corridor as we reached the kitchen.
"You having fun?" I asked him as we got ourselves drinks. Tristan sighed and pulled up his phone from the pocket of his pants.
"Dunno," he said as he started texting someone. "Sorry, gotta take this". I nodded as he left me there, standing alone. I took a sip out of my drink as I heard someone yell my name, making my whole body warm.
"There you are," Alex said as he wrapped his arms around my torso. I let out a giggle as I tossed my arms around his neck. "I missed ya, darling". I smiled a little as we pulled away to face each other. He was wearing a button up shirt and black jeans while his hair was a little done.
"I missed you too, Alex," I said as I gave him a warm smile. He smiled back to me before he pulled a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Ye look gorgeous tonight," he said, making me warm. I smiled down as I tried to hide my red cheeks.
