Despite all his power, Izuku felt limited at this moment. He couldn't keep track of everyone, and the thought of something going wrong without his knowledge irked him. During his time with All for One, Izuku became someone who needs to be in control. This horrible feeling wouldn't last long as the hero, Ragdoll, was dragged before him. Her quirk was what Izuku needed, a search quirk to keep track of everyone.
"I've got what I needed, dispose of her," Izuku ordered once he took the quirk.
"Alright," Magne brought her giant magnet above the hero and crushed her head.
Tiger let out a cry of anger as he and Mandalay arrived a moment too late. "How dare you villain scum!"
"Let's see you take out the other Wild Wild Pussycats," Izuku said, smiling behind the mask.
With Spinner and Magne fighting the heroes, Izuku was free to check out the other areas. Using his new search quirk, he checked everyone's progress. While the plan seemed to be going perfectly, he did notice a potential hiccup. While Mr. Compress was moving away from Uraraka, she headed towards the cliff that Muscular was on.
Izuku started to head towards Uraraka's location. He, unfortunately, had to prevent Muscular from murdering her. Blunt force trauma or a few broken bones were alright, but she witnessed Izuku's capture and needed to remain alive.
Uraraka was practically running up the cliffside. Using her quirk, she floated up while pushing off the rocks to ascend faster. She held a deep regret about not saving Izuku, but defenseless civilians are a priority. Reaching the top, Uraraka saw Muscular backhand Kota, his body skipping across the ground.
"Ah, someone finally arrived. I was afraid this little brat was all I would get to enjoy," Muscular said, turning his attention to Uraraka.
Uraraka tries to fight her quirk nausea as she rushes to Kota's side. "Are you alright?"
"Hey, I'm the one you should be paying attention to." Muscular activates his quirk, his body becoming wrapped in his muscle fibers.
"How could you do something so horrible?" Uraraka asks, turning to face the villain.
"Do you only protect someone because it's the right thing to do? What's right is determined by one's strength!"
"You're wrong. I do it because I want to be someone who can protect others. Strength has nothing to do with my desire to protect." Uraraka declared.
"Strength is everything!" Muscular shouts as he lunges towards the hero.
Uraraka quickly pushes Kota out of the way and dodges Muscular's fist. His strength leaves a small crater where the fist landed.
"You should be ashamed, saying such things as a student of UA. I'm just following the ideology All Might has. His strength allows you, heroes, to say what's right. My strength gives me the privilege to say what's right."
Muscular charges again, but Uraraka shifts her body, narrowly avoiding the strike. Her hand manages to touch his arm, her quirk activating and floating him up in the air. She deactivates her quirk when Muscular reaches a height that would knock people out on impact.
With a loud crash, Muscular hits the ground only to stand right back up. "Not bad for a novice, however if that's the extent of your determination, then I'm disappointed. You failed to defeat me when you had the chance, so allow me to show you my true strength in response to your failure."
Muscular started to use more of his quirk, his body getting bigger as his muscles cover his entire body. Muscular attacks Uraraka again, but when she dodges, his follow-up is faster than she could react, smashing her into the cliffside. Before she could reorientate herself, Muscular struck again. Muscular's attacks were getting quicker as she couldn't dodge in time, her arm getting caught and getting bent in the opposite direction from the attack.
Uraraka let out a shrill scream as she clenched her arm. Kota looked at Uraraka and took a step towards her. She was here because of him, and he believed it was all his fault.
"What are you still doing here? Run!" Uraraka shouted, noticing Kota approach her.
With her attention divided, Uraraka didn't notice Muscular until his boot planted itself against her abdomen. The force knocked her past Kota and knocked the air out of her. Her body was spitting up blood as it desperately tried to take in oxygen, causing her to choke on her blood.
"That's what I like to see, blood. I can see you have some fighting skills, but you're so weak. You'll die unable to accomplish anything, so at least allow me to enjoy watching you bleed."
"Please stop it!" Kota cries desperately, using his water quirk on Muscular.
"Oh, a water quirk," His hand moves up to his prosthetic eye. "That brings me back. I remember a group of heroes who used water quirks, I wanted to kill some people, and they wanted to protect them. What were their names? Water Hose."
"You killed my parents!" Kota screamed, he activates his water quirk again, but the villain only laughed.
Uraraka slowly got up from the ground, her body sore, and all feeling in her left arm was gone. She knew she couldn't win like this; the villain would kill her, kill Kota, and move on to someone else. She wished she'd been captured instead of Izuku.
If only Izuku were here, he would've been able to defeat Muscular and save Kota. He wasn't here, but what would he do if he was? This thought started to run through her mind. If she thought like Izuku, could she find a way to win?
Muscular had already knocked Kota back down as he turned his attention to Uraraka. Despite blood coming from her mouth, he noticed how focused she was. "Ready to take this seriously?" Muscular eagerly charged at Uraraka, a smile plastered on his face. "More, show me more of your blood!"
She couldn't hear what Muscular was saying. Uraraka's body was struggling to keep her standing. Stay in control of every situation, sacrifice whatever's necessary to succeed, right or wrong, I have to win. Uraraka was repeating to herself everything she believed Izuku would do.
Muscular's fist crashed against Uraraka, but her slight adjustment caused his fist to hit her already broken arm. The limp piece of flesh flung behind her, every bone in the arm cracked and gave way as her other hand touched Muscular.
The moment Muscular was in the air, Uraraka shoved him at an angle, pushing him up and away from herself.
"This again? It won't work just like last time!" Muscular shouted.
He continued to float up, slowly hovering over the cliff edge now with the trees below. Uraraka kept her quirk active despite all the damage, inside and out. Despite her arm being destroyed and her insides damaged, she couldn't let up. Her vision blurred as the adrenaline wore off as her body gave in. Nausea took over as she vomited up blood and whatever else she had before passing out on her back.
The quirk was forcibly deactivated as Muscular fell from the cliffside. The fall had him reach terminal velocity as he crashed into the trees below; Branches embedded themselves within Muscular's body as his quirk deactivated from losing consciousness.
"Your quite lucky," Izuku said, standing over Muscular's body. "Your quirk allowed you to survive a fall that would've killed any other person. Admittedly, I would've been curious to see Uraraka's reaction upon killing someone. You've played your part Muscular, a sacrificial pawn that barely played its part." Izuku activated his quirk, teleporting the unconscious Muscular to the bar where Kurogiri resided.
