"Do you think I would believe that! If I didn't believe it when All for One said it, why would I believe it now?" Shimura attempted to apprehend Era, thinking she was working for All for One.

Shimura always had specialized gloves when not in his hero outfit. The gloves left one of his fingers exposed to avoid accidentally activating his quirk, but when he tried to grab Era, his hand phased right through her.

"You can't grab what yet doesn't exist," Era stated. "You need to understand you aren't the one All Might first chose. If you don't, you can't stop Izuku."

"I don't need to believe such a thing to stop him. I'll stop him no matter what," Shimura declared.

"Then why haven't you stopped him yet? If you understood, then finding him might be easier," Era asked.

"If your time travel quirk is real, then send me back. I can stop Izuku and prevent all this from happening," Shimura declared.

"I can't, your wish is to save All Might, and I can't send someone back who wishes to save someone dead," Era explained.

"Why not!" Shimura shouted.

"Lives are not equal, so there is no direct way to save someone else's life," Era replied.

"Then what if I wish really hard to save Izuku?" Shimura was trying desperately to think up any number of ways to save All Might.

"How do you plan to achieve that? Will stopping the villain who attacked the apartment prevent another villain from attacking? Will you watch his family perish so you can adopt him? Or kidnap him from his family, so he never comes in contact with All for One?" Era replied sarcastically.

Shimura was taken back by Era's attitude, as it seemed she was running out of patience with the hero not listening to her. He thought over what Era said and knew there was no way to prevent All for One from reaching Izuku one war or another.

"How did you know about the Izuku's past?" Shimura asked.

"I usually eavesdropped on All Might's conversations. Not much to do when your practically a ghost bound to this school," Era answered before glaring at him. "For someone who doubted me, we're sure talking a lot about my time travel quirk."

"Then explain what does the time travel have to do with catching Izuku?" Shimura asked.

"Before All Might died, I had access to some of his memories. If we swap Izuku and yourself around, then a pattern shows up. All Might's memories had an attack at USJ, Izuku attacked the Sports Festival, but both of you attacked the training camp. I don't know if it's fate or All for One, but Izuku seems to be following a similar path to the one you would've taken," Era explained.

"So if we try and guess what I might do, Izuku might do the same thing?" Shimura inquired.

"Unless we get an idea of what Izuku is after, it's the only thing we've got," Era sighed as she spoke.

Shimura tried to remember the few encounters he had when Izuku fought him "he had an intense hatred for All Might, but never always avoided fighting me. I remember the things he would brag about to me as if always wanting a reaction."

Era sighed again. "So a hatred for you an All Might, not much to go on," the two would continue talking until evening as they tried to figure out Izuku's motives.

Meanwhile, as the sun was setting, Uraraka would see another drug dealer who brought bodyguards to protect himself. One guard attempted to stab Uraraka, who grabbed their arm and slammed the palm of her other hand to the guard's elbow, as the impact caused a snapping sound. Sidestepping around to the guard's back, she grabbed their other arm and their neck, forcing them to the ground. Breaking their other arm, Uraraka quickly got back up.

She maneuvered herself to the other guard, noticing they weren't using their quirks. They were probably drug addicts who took the job to get their fix. She made the other guard float briefly before grabbing their hair and smashing her knee into their face, breaking their nose and knocking them out.

She picked up the unconscious guard and threw them at the drug dealer, releasing her quirk as the body fell on top of the dealer and the weight forcing him to the ground.

"I'm not killing anyone, as this is just an effective way to immobilize them," Uraraka told herself. The word effective, made her stomach turn. It was a word Izuku would use, and the thought of comparing herself to the villain made her sick.

Every day she would often tell herself she's nothing like that villain who killed and manipulated people, but his words and skills when he acted as a hero wouldn't leave her mind. The more she fought, the more her actions were influenced by him, driving her hatred for him into a self-disgust for herself.

Uraraka would plant her foot into the drug dealer's hand, grinding her heel into him. "Hand over all the money you possess from your drug dealing."

"I don't have any!" The drug dealer pleaded.

"Don't lie to me. I know you drug dealers always have some," Uraraka stated, smashing her foot down on his fingers, breaking them.

"He's not lying," A cold voice spoke from the shadows.

Uraraka turned to the voice as a man with a plague mask stepped forward with a group of masked villains accompanying him. One look at the man's cold eyes had Uraraka immediately fleeing from him. A sudden gunshot rang out as she tried to avoid it, the bullet catching her leg as she collapsed to the ground.

"My quirk, what happened?" Uraraka asked in surpise.

"I temporarily removed your quirk, I don't recommend trying to run again, or I'll kill you," Overhaul stated coldly.

"What do you want from me?" Uraraka asked. She retained some composure due to fighting on the streets recently but knew this man was dangerous.

"First, remove your mask," Overhaul ordered.

Uraraka slowly lifted up her hand and pulled the white mask off her face. Her eyes had dark circles around them, as her hair was cut short and messy. The little money that went to taking care of her looks went to surviving without her family's help.

"The girl who got kicked from UA," Overhaul was a bit surprised to see her. "The people who you've been stealing from work for me, and you're going to be paying me back with interest."

"I've got no money I can return," Uraraka stated outright. She needed the money for her family.

"Then we're going to discuss your contract with us," Overhaul retorted. "Of course, I don't recommend you try anything. Knowing who you are means your family are my hostages."

Uraraka slowly nodded and followed them as requested. She was blindfolded and led underground in a maze before being brought to a small empty room.

"The conditions are simple: you work for me, obey everything I say, and in return, you and your family live. Also," Overhaul would throw a stack of money on the table, which Uraraka slowly picked up. She would count it and noticed it was a lot more than she made stealing from the drug dealers. "I treat those who work for me more than fairly, do a good job, and I'll pay more."

Uraraka's hands would tremble as she held the money, she wanted to say something, but her voice kept getting caught in her throat, "but I'm not a villain, I can't kill anyone," she finally managed to say.

"We prefer to avoid killing since it draws too much attention. My quirk allows me to make any injuries people have, disappear," Overhaul replied. Uraraka was hesitant, and he knew it would only take another push before she would give in. "Of course, I expect all my members to live here which their needs are taken care of, and since you're here, getting that money to your family would be hard. I can have one of my agents e-transfer the money to whatever account you desire."

Uraraka currently had no way of getting the money to her family. She couldn't communicate with them, and trying to transfer large amounts of money would be met with suspicion. All of her problems could be solved by this person in front of her, "Why me?"

"You went to UA and have combat experience. Your quirk is also valuable in moving large amounts of goods easily and discreetly," Overhaul answered.

Ever since leaving UA, Uraraka knew she was straying further and further from being a hero. If she didn't have to kill someone, one more step couldn't hurt. "Alright, I accept your proposal Overhaul."
