"What in the devil's name is that?" Nebulosa asked.

"The Azoth?"

"By the power invested in us through this jewel, I order you to return to your tombs!" Dixie shouted, holding the completed Azoth in her hand as Cima held the other half.

Nubulosa cackled, Isis and Gonner standing by our sides. "And what power is that?"

"The power of the real bearers of the Azoth!" Cima snapped.

"That Azoth is a rock! It has no real power. They're not even zombies!" Nebulosa argued.

Cima and Dixie looked at each other before taking a deep breath. "Who are you really, Dixie and Cima Grim?"

"Earth, air, fire, and water! Honesty, inspiration, will, and courage!" the sisters said in unison.

They held the two halves as they transformed into their zombie selves. Dixie's dark makeup smeared and her clothes became more torn, while her body showed more bones than skin.

Cima smiled, closing her eyes and tilting her head back as she transformed. Her power rushed over her. Like when Dixie reunited with her, she was wearing her black trench coat and the mask that covered everything except her eyes. Her hair turned into a darker shade of blue and purple. She pulled down her mask to reveal her flaking lips. She didn't realize it, but bone was showing in some places.

"Leave the zombies alone! Just because they don't look like all of you doesn't mean they're so different," Cima said, standing boldly in front of the mortals.

"No! They are abominably boorish monsters. They should be annihilated," the old woman argued.

"The two worlds don't need to destroy each other. Look at us! Half mortal, half zombie," Dixie argued.

"Both zombies and mortals know that we can't coexist. We must fight to the death!" Nebulosa insisted.

"And that's why we were chosen to change that," Cima said snarkily. "We're the balance of the two worlds. Believe me, we know how to be in two worlds at once. And one day, we will make it one. And that's why we're here to change the world from destroying each other."

"Petey?" the woman asked as an undead cat walked up to her. "No! You're not Petey anymore! You're a nasty varment! Go away!"

"Let me ask you this. Have you ever lost a loved one? Grandparents, parents, siblings that you loved so much? Would you treat them the way you're treating your own cat?" Cima asked softly to the woman.

The woman's eyes widened in realization. She really wouldn't. All the people she lost, and she was left close to nothing. Except for her cats.

"Wait! Petey!" the woman said, opening her arms with a smile. "You may smell like rotten fish, but you'll always be my Petey."

"That's more like it," Cima whispered to her sister.

Gonner walked up to them, slinging an arm around Cima. Cima laid her head on his shoulder, smiling.

"Hey, cats! Let me through! I'm with them," Vitriol said suddenly.

"How dare they!" Nebulosa growled. "Who cares about the Azoth?!" She mumbled madly, electricity in the air.

The two sisters were shot at with electricity. Cima yelled as a mix of a blue and purple shield surrounded them. Cima shoved Gonner behind her as she drew her sword. She deflected the beam to Nebulosa, shooting her with her own beam. She collapsed, falling to the ground with a groan.

Cima walked up to her boldly. "I was the devil that you dealt with a year ago. I was the devil that you tried to capture, and instead, we slipped through your grimy fingers every single time. We've won, Nebulosa, face it. And you will return to your tomb, where you will be trapped and forever be there to rot till your passing."
