Saint John was on red alert. All communication was cut off with the rest of the Island.

Citizens began to rebel against authorities. Many were obligated to the outside of Saint John as punishment and many families were torn apart.

The militia grew more each day as many citizens enlisted to protect their families.

A date was proposed as the end. No one would be allowed to get out of Saint John and anyone who gets in trouble would be put to the law and forced to do labor for their sentence.

Many decided to willingly go away in hopes of finding their loved ones. A few left their children so that they could have a better life.

As the end was getting near the population in Saint John reached a low of 100,000.

30,000 militia and 70,000 rest of the population.

A mandatory lock-up was assigned for 11 days after the end.

The militia divided goods for each family to maintain for those days. Many children were alone or with underage relatives.

They were all moved to the militia Academy and were later known as the militia babies.

As the end came near the streets of Saint John were empty.

A last move was authorized by the Militia and everyone getting near our border could be killed on sight.

Shots were heard all day. As the ends closely were arriving.
