Zoya made their four years old daughter sleep in their room as their princess refused to sleep alone in her room. Aditya had promised that he would come early as their daughter doesn't sleep without him. Zoya sighed and kissed Myra's forehead.
She gently closed the door of the room and sat in the living room, waiting for Aditya. She looked at the clock and saw the time was 23:25 hours. She was waiting for him but within a few minutes, she fell asleep on the sofa itself.
She opened her eyes with a jerk when she heard the sound of the opening of the door. She got up and saw that Aditya entered the House with his coat hanging on his shoulders.
He saw her sitting on the sofa and made a puppy face, apologising. She scoffed and walked towards him. "I am really sorry, Zoya. I tried to come early but..." As Aditya was speaking, she stopped him by showing him her palm and covered her nose with her hand.
"Are you drunk?" asked Zoya. Aditya averted his eyes from her, trying to avoid her question. "Aditya, I need an answer", demanded Zoya. Aditya slowly nodded in a yes and Zoya gasped.
"Did you drive till here?" asked Zoya. Aditya said, "But I drank in limit." Zoya cut him, saying, "Still, drink and drive is not good. Why did you drink at first place? Your daughter was waiting for you and you were drinking there?"
"My friends forced me. I swear after a long tiring day, all I wanted was your hug and baby's cuddles. I am completely sober", said Aditya and Zoya scoffed and went to their room while Aditya followed her.
As she entered the room, she took out his towel from the closet and passed it to him without saying anything. Aditya took it silently and went to take a shower. Zoya sat beside her daughter, waiting for Aditya.
As Aditya came out of the shower wearing his transparent shirt and a pair of pyjamas. He kissed his daughter's forehead and laid on her left side while Zoya laid on her right.
"Was she crying?" asked Aditya while tracing the tear marks on her chubby cheeks. "She wanted to see you before she falls asleep. When you didn't come, she started crying", said Zoya and Aditya's heart ripped apart, thinking about his princess crying because of him.
He kissed her cheeks and Zoya's heart melted at the sight. Still, she chose to ignore it and turned around. Aditya saw her back and he closed his eyes, hugging his daughter. Myra too mumbled, "Papa" in sleep and climbed on his chest.

Aditya woke up only to find Myra missing from the room. Just a few seconds later, he felt some tickles on his feet and smiled. "Baby, won't you come to Papa?" asked Aditya and at the very next moment, she ran to him and hugged him. He kissed her head and caressed her hair.
