Aditya was sleeping peacefully but he felt the rays of sun disturbing his sleep. He murmured in his sleep, "Zoya, please let me sleep."
Zoya smiled and climbed on the bed, beside him. She whispered in his ears, "It's late." He opened his eyes and saw her smiling at him.
He let out a smile and pulled her closer to him. "I thought that today we are going to spend a lazy Sunday. But look at you! You are all ready", said Aditya as he caressed her cheeks.
"I don't like being in the bed for long, and you know that. Get up. I want to spend some time with you. We rarely get to spend sometime with each other, or else we are always busy in our professions", said Zoya.
"Your profession always keeps you away from me. What can I do?" asked Aditya and Zoya pointed her finger at him, saying, "Don't you dare say anything against my profession."
Aditya smiled and said, "I won't. I am very proud of you. The way you handled this tough thing, I had never thought that my delicate childhood friend would have been able to manage this", said Aditya.
"I just hope that Abbu is also proud of me", said Zoya and Aditya kissed her forehead, saying, "He is! He is surely proud of his strong daughter. He had trained you for this. My Zoya doesn't let anyone down."
"Okay, enough of buttering. Go and get up. I want to have pancakes made by you", said Zoya and Aditya immediately got up, making Zoya smile.

Aditya poured the chocolate sauce on the pancakes and finding it nicely garnished, he called Zoya who immediately came and sat on the kitchen slab.
He made her eat and she widened her eyes in surprise. "My absence turned you into such a good cook. Impressive!" said Zoya.
Aditya sighed and said, "What can I do? You are away from me for months. I have to survive, right? Or else how will we fulfill our vows of living and dying together?"
"There is no need to fulfill such vows. Is it necessary to talk about dying?" asked Zoya, irritatedly and he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I am sorry. Let's watch our favourite movie. Is it okay?" asked Aditya and Zoya nodded, still upset. He pulled her closer to him and she wrapped her legs around his torso, shocked at the sudden movement.
"Don't be upset, baby. It's the only day we have got for ourselves. Let's make the most out of it", saying this, he bit her earlobe and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
She bit her lower lip and nodded, making Aditya grin. He walked towards their room with her clinging onto him.
