"Ammi, can't I stay with both of you? I don't like this", said Myra with a pout. Zoya looked at her four years old daughter as she tied Myra's hair in a ponytail.
"Myra, baby, you will have to understand this that you cannot stay with your Ammi and Paa at the same time. This is what I had explained you yesterday, right?" said Zoya.
"That means for this week, I'll stay with Paa?" asked Myra and Zoya nodded in a yes with a fake smile. "You won't even come to meet me?" asked Myra.
Zoya nodded in a no and kissed her forehead. "Baby, I'll call you everyday. I can't stay without talking to my baby", said Zoya as she hugged her daughter.
She knows that their daughter is getting affected in this, but she wasn't able to live with Aditya under the same roof. According to Aditya, she interfered a lot in his personal life.
She still wasn't able to believe that he was the same man for whom she fought with her Father, just to get married to him. She ran away with Aditya almost seven years ago and got married. The first few years were like a bliss to them. But then, differences started showing up between them.
They decided to separate their paths an year ago. Myra loved her Paa way to much to leave him. About Zoya, Myra was her everything. She knew that she won't be able to stay away from Myra. Myra is Aditya's replica. When Myra is with Zoya, Zoya always felt that she is with Aditya.
She wasn't ready to let go of her daughter. She would die if Myra leaves her. Their lawyers had suggested that Myra could stay with Zoya for one week and with Aditya for the other.
They weren't divorced yet, they had applied for divorce. Deep down, they both didn't want it as it was Myra who would be affected the most. Within last few months, the only thing that had kept them binded was their unconditional love for Myra.
But Zoya had enough when once Myra heard them arguing with each other and she refused to allow anyone to come near her. She was scared that someone would shout at her too, just like her Parents were shouting at each other.
When they were finally able to convince her, Zoya had decided that until the divorce finalises, they both would stay at different places. Zoya had moved to the place which her Father had gifted them when he was convinced on seeing his daughter happy with Aditya.
Aditya still used to live in the same House which they had filled with their love for each other and their baby. It was difficult for Zoya to leave the place that she once called "Home". But then, she finally moved out.
Zoya lifted Myra in her arms when she heard the horn of Aditya's car. She kissed her forehead once again while Myra kissed her Ammi's cheek.
She placed Myra on the back seat without even passing a glance to Aditya. Aditya ruffled Myra's hair and put the seatbelt on her, all without looking at Zoya.
