Chapter 7

"Izuku!"

I looked up from my notes to see mom running towards me with something in her hand. As she approached me, the object cane into view, and in its place was a letter. "It's for you! From UA!" I know I didn't get in. Do they really need to rub it in? She held the letter out to me and, reluctantly, I took it. Sure enough, the letter had the UA stamp on it. I rolled my eyes and opened it. A small button-looking thing popped out and showed a hollow gram. I jumped.

There was a man with long black hair and a dumb looking white scarf around his neck. He had on a black long sleeved.... thing and he looked extremely tired. Does this guy get any sleep?

"I am pleased to announce that you have gotten into UA High," He said, no energy in his voice. My eyes widened. "Included in this envelope is your schedule and curtification. You need that in order to step onto school grounds. Izuku Midoriya, you only got 3 points, but that's just from fighting the robot. There were secret points that we were giving away called rescue points. Like the name suggests, we give them to the people who rescue someone, like you did. You were, in fact, the only one who got rescue points. You were the student with the most points. Classes start on Monday. Welcome to UA."

The hollow gram disappeared. I didn't realize I was crying until I reached up to touch my face, feeling tears. "Izuku! I'm so proud of you!" Mom cried, hugging me so tight it was getting hard to breathe. "M-mom... I-I can't..." I wheezed out. "Whoops! Sorry, Sweety," she apologized, letting me go. A smile spread across my lips.

I showed the others the message. Kurogiri hugged me looser than mom did, letting me breathe. Shigy did, to, but lightly, so he didn't turn me into a walking crustier-than-his-lips thing.

(I donno why but I instantly thought of 'tHaT's A lOt Of DaMaGe')

"You did good, Izuku," Kuroguri praised. I thanked him, taking a sip of some juice. (I may be a villain, but I ain't gonna underage drink) "He could have gotten more kill points," Shigy confessed. "Shut up, McCrusty sandwich," I shot back.

Kuroguri snorted. "That..... was actually pretty good, kid. I'm proud of you," Shigy reluctantly said. I smiled.

"Thanks."

"You'd better start training. The others that got in will be strong, so you have to be stronger," Kuroguri suggested. I sighed. "Ok, Mamaguri," I teased, walking away. I heard Shigy snort and add, "That's what you get." "At least mine was about something good," Kuroguri snapped back, and Shigy shut up REAL quick.

What a strange family I have.
