(Courtney's father's pov)

Courtney and I have been in Sydney for a couple of days. I have always missed the warm sunny days they have here. We have been searching for houses for weeks, when we finally found one we liked, I booked us a flight and now we're here.

"Court?! You ready to go, sweatheart?" I hollered from outide her hotel room.

"Yeah. Let me put my shoes on," she relpied.

I waited outside the door until she came out of the room. Her and I headed out of the hotel and got into a cab.

"Where are you off to sir?" The cab driver asked.

"Take us to Chelsea Upton's Realtor office" I told the man.

Once we arrived at the the location, I gave the man the money for the cab. Courtney and I went into the building. I had hopes for this could be the day we find our home here in Sydney again.

"Hello! My name is Chelsea Upton. I here you two are looking for a home here in Sydney?" She introduced herself.

"Yes. My daughter is going to the university of Sydney this fall and my job just so happens to keep me here with her," I explain, placing my hand on Courtney's shoulder.

"Is there a certain place you would like to look at? You know, maybe closer to campus?" She asked, looking at Courtney.

"Yes. There is actually a house we would like to see," Courtney responded. She told her the area of the house.

"I think I know just where that is,"she smiled and leads us to her car.

This woman leads us to a suburban area with nice houses and parks all around. The people don't look too friendly. That is what I don't like about the suburbs.

"Here we are," she said as we pulled up to a two story house with a less fancy looking appearance than the rest of the houses in this area. This is the house we were looking for.

"Do you know the previous owners of this house?" Courtney asked.

"I do. But that is a question I can will be happy to answer later," she replied.

We look through the house. The rooms are not to small and there is a nice kitchen with a room for an office. I loved the house but I don't know if Court is sold.

"Now. What do you think of the house?" Chelsea asked us.

"Could you tell me the name of the previous owner?" Courtney asked. She must really want to know about the people that used to live here.

(Courtney's POV)

Chelsea took me into another room. I am guessing to tell me that she can't give away the information I am asking for. "Why do you want to know the owners of this home so much?" she asked me.

"I have a friend who used to live in this area of Sydney. I just want to know if they knew him," I reply.

"The previous owner of this home Is Liz and Andrew Hemmings. Do you know them?" she told me. I know who those people are. Those people are Luke's parents.

"Yes. I know of them," I started to say as she started to walk away,"Could I ask you one more favor?"

"Depends on the favor,"she turned around.

"Could I have Liz's phone number? I would like to talk to them," I pleaded. I put on some puppy dog eyes and pouted.

"Alright," she gave in and gave me her number. "So I can get the paperwork ready?" Chelsea asked as we walked back into the room we left my father in.

"Yes ma'am. I love this house," said my father.

"And as do I," I stated standing next to my father.

"Alrighty then. We can go back to my office and sign some papers!" She is so chipper. I don't like it.

Later in the evening after Dad and I went to Chelsea's office and made it official, I went back to my hotel room and decided to call Luke's mother.

I took out the peice of paper that I was given with her number on it and dialed the number into my phone. It started to ring and I became very nervous. This will be the first time I talk to Luke's mother. I don't know what she will think of me.

"Hello?" her voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Uh.... Hi....My name is Courtney...I am a friend of Luke's," I struggled to say.

"Oh hi! I have heard so many wonderful things about you. My boy seems to care a lot about you to talk about you as much as he does," she finally said. Oh good. She knows who I am.

"Oh. He has talked to you?" I said with a big of sadness in my tone.

"Yes my dear. I am his mother after all," she chuckled. "Is something wrong sweetheart?" She asked.

I hesitated to answer. Will she think it is weird for my to ask all these questions about her old house and Luke?

"Would you mind meeting me at my hotel? I have somethings to ask you," I ask with plead in my voice.

"Sure dear. What Hotel are you at?" she replied. I told her to meet in the lobby of my hotel and I will be down there waiting.

Ten minutes later Liz arrived at the hotel and spotted me right away. It was surprising that she knew what I looked like. "You look so much prettier in person!" she said loudly as she gradually came over to me.

"Thank you. I wish Luke had told me more about you so I could say I have heard wonderful things about you," I said.

"That's okay dear. Now, what were those things you wanted to talk about?" her and I went to the elevator to have more privacy to talk in my room.

"I believe my father had just bought your house today,"I said, ushering her into the room.

"Oh. Right, Chelsea said someone had bought it I am so happy to have it sold. Do you have any questions about the house?" She questioned.

"I know this may sound weird, but I was wondering which room was Luke's," I started to say. But when she gave me a stange look, I started to babble, "You see, I just miss him so much and I want some connection to him here in Australia because I know he doesn't come he as often as he should."

"Courtney, I know you miss him. I miss him too. That is why I sold the house. Every time I go by his room, it makes me upset. Do you really want to know so bad?" She looked at me with sympathetic eyes.

"Yes. I want to know that much," I retorted.

She sighed. I am guessing to calm down. "His bedroom is the last room on the left. The big blue room," she told.

I knew I felt something in that room. Now I know why. At least now I know I will have some sort of connection to Luke while he is away on tour. But he doesn't know My father bought his old house. I don't think he will know until he comes back to Australia during a break from tour. That will be around Christmas. Gosh! I can't wait to see him that long.

I thanked Liz and she left.

(A/N:) THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR WAITING SO LONG FOR AN UPDATE. I HAVE JUST BEEN HAVING A HARD TIME COMING UP WITH IDEAS FOR MY STORIES. I KNOW THERE WILL BE SOME SPELLING OR GRAMMAR ERRORS, BUT PLEASE DON'T COMMENT THINGS AND TELL ME HOW BAD IT IS. THANK YOU.
