(Courtney'sPOV)

After Elizabeth and I's talk, Luke came back with all the band mates. I wonder why they all live together. I mean, they are old enough to live by themselves. But I guess they want to live with each other because the are best mates.

"So, Court. How was your chat with Elizabeth?" Luke questioned as he sat next to me on the couch.

"It was nice. I needed someone to listen to what I had to say, and she listened. I feel much better," I said.

"Your girlfriend helped me a lot, Ashton," I said, looking over into the the  kitchen where the others were.

"That's good. What exactly did she help you with?" Ashton called back.

What do I say? This is supossed to be between Luke, Elizabeth and I. But Elizabeth will likely tell him sooner or later.

"Could I talk to you and Luke in the other room?" I asked.

They both nodded their heads and followed me. I sat on Luke's bed, rubbing my knees in nervousness. I didn't want to tell many people about my problems because I didn't want to get anyone involved.

"What did you want to talk to us in private about?" Ashton looked at me with a worried look.

I looked at Luke. He nodded for me to tell him.

"Can you promise not to tell anyone else about this? Not even Calum or Michael. I have a feeling they don't like me already," I spoke in a hushed tone.

"Yes, you can trust me. Michael and Calum are just worried that you are a fan tring to get on Luke's good side so you can get free tickets an merch from him, that's all. But Luke and I know you aren't, we trust you enought, and know you enough to see you are a good and real friend to Luke," Ashton leaned in to tell me as he was chrouching in front of the bed, while Luke was sitting next to me on his bed.

  That's nice to know.

"I'm in a little bit of... trouble," I spoke in a soft tone.

"What kind of trouble?" Ashton asked.

  "M-my b-boyf-friend," I stuttered.

"Luke? I thought you were her boyfriend?" Ashton playfully slapped Luke's arm. He just looked at the ground in shame. I don't know why he would think that. Oh well.

"No. My boyfriends name is Sam. He doesn't even know Luke," I explained.

"Okay. Then what is the problem?" Ashton asked once again.

Luke explained the whole thing to him and tried not to upset me in the process but he failed. I can't think straight anymore. I have all these bad thoughts about if Sam found out about me telling them, he wouldn't be too happy and I would pay the price.

"Courtney? What are you crying for?" Ashton asked as Luke was rubbing circles on my back to relax me.

"I just feel bad for dragging you into this. I don't want him to harm you," I said through sobbs.

"Court, I don't care what I am up against. As long as I'm protecting my best friend, that's all I care about," Luke said.

I don't think Luke knows what he's getting himself into.
