" Hurry up and keep him still! " One scientist commanded as two other's dragged a young boy to an operating table, the boy kept struggling and thrashing his body around. Wanting to get out and away from this place.

Another scientist tried grabbing the young boy named; Heat.

Only to get kicked in the jaw, groaning softly they stumbled back. The only reason to why he was acting like this was because they had mentioned using him in some human experiment, Heat was already in a bad mood and he didn't feel or want to deal with this.

" Useless brat! "
One of them hissed.

After what seemed to be hours and hours of struggling. They had finally held him down, thick metal sea stone cuffs were wrapped around his legs and arms while a neck brace dug into his neck, making it almost impossible to breathe.

" This time, you promised you wouldn't struggle.. " They mumbled as they walked towards the boy, who was still struggling even if it was pointless. His eyes widened as he let out an ear piercing scream.

Once he felt a blade come in contact with a small patch of skin underneath his eyes, crimson liquid slowly dripped down the side of his face.

" P-Please stop! Damn it! I'm sorry, I won't do this again! " Heat begged, hoping that they'd listen this time.

" Apologizing isn't going to get you anywhere. " They replied before moving the blade to the corner of Heat's mouth, applying slight pressure causing the blade to dig into his skin.

Tears formed in the corners of his eyes. Heat let out another scream even louder then the last one-

-

Gasping slightly, Heat opened his eyes as he quickly sat up, panting heavily. He sighed softly once he realized that it was just a nightmare.

" Not again... " He mumbled to himself, this had been the third time where he's had the same damn nightmare.

Kicking the blanket aside, his skin was warmer then usual and drenched in sweat. Which didn't seem to help with the current situation.

" You okay ? "

You asked as you peaked your head into the dimly lit room, you couldn't really sleep either so you went to get a midnight snack but had heard some noise coming from Heat's room. So being the amazing friend and crew-mate you were. You decied to check on him.

" O-Oh, yeah. I um...just had a nightmare. " Heat said as he slowly started to mumble, a little embarrassed at how he managed to wake someone up from some stupid nightmare.

" Do you wanna talk about it ? " You asked, a little worried about him.

" I guess, we can talk about it.. " With that, you strolled right into Heat's room. Making yourself comfortable, sitting across from him. You then crossed your arms.

" So, what was the nightmare about ? " you asked, a hint of worry and concern could be heard in your voice.

" It was just about my past, before I joined the crew... " Heat replied, not wanting to go into detail. As his voice cracked slightly while a few memories came into his mind.

Frowning slightly you gently pulled him closer to you. Heat blushed lightly as he gently rested his head against your chest, listening to your heartbeat as he slowly started to calm down.

" Next time, promise me. You'll come and get me. When something like this happens " You said, while gently running your hand through his messy hair. " Alright.. " He mumbled.

_

After sometime, Heat had fallen fast asleep while you stayed awake for a couple minutes. Heat was clinging onto you, as if you were going to disappear.

You gently rubbed your thumb over his cheek, telling him that you weren't going anywhere and that he will be okay. Heat couldn't help but smile in his sleep.

Smiling softly, you leaned in, placing small kisses over some of his scars.
" Good night.. " You whispered before closing your eyes, finally falling asleep.
