I love you more then food! ( Luffy x reader )

It was just another day with the straw hat pirates, Nami and Robin were sitting on the deck, sunbathing and reading while the crew's love-sick cook; Sanji served them all kinds of fancy foods and drinks. Chopper and Usopp were being well themselves, while you were watching the sky. Enjoying the somewhat quiet ship.

And then Luffy, was no were to be seen which was odd since he was usually stealing food from the fridge or rambling on about Ace and Shanks and how they were such nice people. Sitting up, you looked around the ship, trying to find your idiot of a captain. But, he was nowhere to be found. Which was starting to worry you.

Not getting a chance to do anything else, you were suddenly tackled by the boy made out of rubber, wrapping his arms around your waist. Luffy giggled like a child. " Hey!! (Y/N)! " He said, a little to loud for your liking; while Sanji had started lecturing his captain about how he can't do stuff that reckless to a lady.

Of course, Luffy was ignoring the blonde cook. " Whatcha doing ? " He asked. " Well, I was going to look for you. " You replied. " Well! I'm here! So, now we can do something! " Luffy said, happily.

Time had passed by, and the crew was having dinner. Of course it wasn't a simple or quiet meal. Oh no, having dinner with a crew such as the straw hats was always so chaotic. Luffy was constantly trying to steal the other's food, while Sanji was scolding him like always.

But, when that wasn't happening. The crew was talking about what they were going to do later on in life. Or wondering what the next island would be like.

Smiling softly, you watched Luffy say that he was going to become the next pirate king. He was such an idiot, but that was something that you've always loved about him.

" Here, Luffy. You can have my food. I'm not really hungry. " You offered while gently nudging your plate towards the male. Smiling widely, Luffy happily took the food from your plate. " Thanks (Y/N)! " He chirped, with a mouth full of food.

" Hey, Luffy. Didn't you wanna tell (Y/N) something. " Nami said, hoping that he would remember what she told him eariler before dinner. " Hm ? Oh yeah! That! " Luffy said as he giggled slightly. " Can't you tell her for me ? " Luffy asked Nami, making the female growl lightly.

" Just tell her! " The navigator hissed.

" Okay, okay! " Luffy murmured as he turned his attention to you. " Hm ? " Tilting your head to the side, you were a little curious about what Luffy and Nami were talking about.

" Okay! (Y/N), I wanted to say this for a while. But I was scared...but Nami helped me! " Luffy rambled on as a small blush dusted his cheeks. " I just wanted to say that... "

" I love you. " Luffy finally said, " No, wait. I love you more then food! " He added on. Making everyone else freeze, Luffy saying that he loved someone more then food was definitely something they didn't expect to hear.

" Is he sick ? Oi, cook. What did you do too him ? " The swordsman questioned as Sanji glared at him.

You blushed lightly before smiling softly. " I love you too, Luffy. "

" Yay!! Wait, does that mean you'll be the Queen of pirates ? " Your captain questioned.

" How cute. " Robin said, as she smiled at the two of you.
