I missed you ( Sir Crocodile x Reader )

Crocodile is hot af- 

Anyway! This will involve spoilers to the impel down arc. So, if you haven't gotten that far you can either keep reading or just...go away. Idk.

Warnings; Slight angst, fluff.

This will be my first one shot where the reader is gender neutral.

Waiting, that's all you've done for the past few weeks. Waiting for him like; a dog whose owner hasn't come back. Ever since Luffy had defeated Crocodile and the marines had taken him to Impel down. You haven't left his office since, you had missed the feeling of his hand resting on your waist as you'd watch him fill out paperwork or sit in his chair and watch the bananawai's swim around in their tanks. You missed taking walks with him through the streets of Alabasta. You missed everything about him.

Sighing softly, you pulled your knees closer to your chest as you leaned back in Crocodile's chair. Staring at the door to his office, hoping that he'd appear out of nowhere and walk inside. Tears slowly started to cloud your vision, sniffing slightly. You wiped the tears from your eyes before resting your head against the arm of the chair. Listening to the faint sound of the bananawai's roaming around their tank.

" I....I miss you.. " You murmured to no one in particular a few more tears ran down your face as you started to wonder what and how Crocodile was doing.

Crocodile sighed softly as he rested his head back onto the cold stone walls that belonged to the cell that he's stayed in for god knows how long. He's tried almost everything to relax. He's tried sleeping, talking to Daz, walking around the cell- even if it was big enough to fit at least 20 people. But none of that had helped him relax.

All he could think about was you and how you where all alone. If only he had told Daz to stay with you, instead of coming to Impel down with him. " Do you think we'll ever escape this damn place ? " The former warlord questioned as he turned his attention towards Daz.

" I don't know boss, but if we do. Then you'll be able to see (Y/N) again. " Daz said, calmly. " Hmm.. " Crocodile let out a small hum in response as he stared at the wall. Still thinking about how you where alone and basically helpless.

Was it all his fault for not protecting you when the straw hats had tried stopping him ? If he never tried taking over Alabasta, then he would've been enjoying your company. Instead of being caged like some damn animal.

" Well, I know that they'll be very happy to see you again. Boss. " Daz said, hoping that this would try and make Crocodile happy.

The last thing Crocodile had expected was Luffy to actually help him, after he had tried killing him, Vivi and his crew.

" I'm only doing this because Mr. 2 and Mr. 3 mentioned something about you missing someone. I know your bad and that you tried killing me. But you wanna see this person. Kinda like how I wanna save Ace! " Luffy said as he looked up at the warlord. Letting out a small growl, Crocodile glared at the two idiots he had worked with. He then turned his attention back to the straw hat's idiot of a captain.

" I suppose I can help you escape... " He mumbled while Daz lit him a new cigar. Inhaling, he took a long drag from the cigar before blowing out smoke.

" Alright! Let's go! " Luffy chirped as he rushed past them, a few other prisoners followed after him. Crocodile turned his attention back to Mr. 2 and Mr. 3. " You two idiots, actually told the straw hat about (Y/N) ?! I should kill the both of you right now. " He hissed, pressing the sharp end of his hook against their necks.

" Boss, I understand your mad at them. But we should leave now. " Daz commented. Crocodile huffed slightly as he followed Daz and Luffy.

Crocodile couldn't help but smile weakly, he was finally going to leave this damn place. He was finally going to see you again...

Once, Crocodile, Daz and the rather annoying inmate; Buggy had boarded a marine ship, with the help of Jinbe. The warlord couldn't help but grin as him and Daz rushed to kill as many marine's as they could. At this point, he'd do almost anything too see you again and some stupid marine's weren't going to get in his way. With a simple gesture of his hand, a wave of sand drowned the marines, a few of them were knocked into the ocean in the process.

Blowing out a puff of smoke, Crocodile looked over at Daz- who was finishing off the last of the marine's. " Well! Now that their taken care of, we can leave! " Buggy chirped.

" You didn't even do anything helpful, I should toss you into the ocean and let you drowned.. " Crocodile said while bitting down on the end of his cigar, clearly annoyed at the other. " And since, I have no interest in helping straw hat's brother. I'm going back to Alabasta...So, that fish-man can get you another ship. " Crocodile added on as he walked towards the ship's wheel, ignoring Buggy's pleads to let him stay with them.

Daz hummed softly as he watched Jinbe drag Buggy off the ship and bring him to a different one. " We can finally go back, I'll be back soon...(Y/N).. " Crocodile mumbled as the marines ship slowly started to sail back to Alabasta.

After what seemed to be hours and hours of sailing, Crocodile and Daz finally arrived at Alabasta. Not wasting another minute, the warlord quickly rushed off the ship and towards the casino that he had owned for quite some time. Pushing past a few people, Crocodile took a deep breathe before walking into the casino, ignoring a small group of people who kept asking him too many questions.

Daz did his best to keep them away from his boss while they made their way back to his office. A few other workers where also shocked to see their boss back. But, like any other time. Crocodile payed very little attention to them. After all, he had more important things to do. Like make sure you where alright and still here.

You immediately perked up once you heard footsteps approach the office. Being both curious and a little worried to see who it was. Tilting your head to the side you watched the doors slowly open; tears slowly started to form in the corner of your eyes. As you watched him walk into the office.

" (Y/N)- " He said, not getting the chance to finish his sentence. You jumped out of his chair and rushed towards him- almost tripping in the process.

Letting out a chuckle, you almost tackled him into a hug, wrapping your arms around the warlord's waist. You held onto him as if he was going to disappear out of thin air. Crocodile smiled softly as he wrapped his arm and hook around your waist- being very careful not to poke or hurt you with the sharp end of his hook.

" Please, don't go again. " You whined, acting like a child who didn't want their parents to leave. " I promise, that I won't go again. Love. " He said while gently rubbing your back with his hand. Sniffing slightly, you rested your head against his chest as you looked up at him. " I missed...you.. "

Crocodile chuckled lightly, leaning down to your height as he placed a small kiss on the top of your head. " I missed you too. "
