I feel like this is the weirdest title I have ever written in my life...

And sorry for not updating this story for...3 weeks? 4 weeks? I lost count... let's just say that half of it consists of me being lazy and the other half consists of school and getting my tablet confiscated by my parents...

Anyways... enjoy!

It was a good day in Hogwarts.

How could it not be?

The sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. It wasn't so hot nor was it too windy. It was the perfect balance between sun and wind.

The grounds were littered with students doing whatever they pleased to do so. Some muggle born kids were playing football as the others, mostly pureblood students, watched on in confusion as to what they were doing. Others were swimming around in the lake with the giant squid. Of course some were out flying on their brooms, either taking advantage of the weather for more Quidditch practice or just trying to clear their minds.

Some were sitting underneath shady trees, talking and laughing with their friends much like how the golden trio were enjoying the weather.

Although, neither Ron nor Harry would say they were enjoying it. For, Hermione had dragged them out there to do homework, saying that they all needed fresh air from being cooped up in the castle for a week due to the huge rainstorm they faced, continuously, for a week.

Harry, instead of actually studying, was watching as the students flew around on their brooms, wishing that he was up there instead. He would do anything to be up there now, if only Hermione could be persuaded to put a stop to their studying until tonight.

Right now, Ron was arguing with Hermione. You could easily guess what they were arguing about. Studying, of course.

Ron wanted to fly on his broom, too. You'd be crazy to not want to after the horrendous weather they faced. Honestly, who would want to study when the weather was this perfect? The answer would be Hermione. Not even any of the Ravenclaw students were studying. Even they had the common sense not to. Most of them were outside, enjoying the sun under the shade of a tree, reading or talking to their friends.

“No, Ron! This essay is due next week!” she shrieked at him, quite adamant on studying at this very moment.

“But Hermione! No one else is studying! We're the only ones! Can we just get a small break! Just for 20 minutes! Just a quick fly around the castle!” the redhead pleaded. He wanted nothing else but a small -not really- fly around the castle, what's the harm in that?

“Of course you can have a 20 minute break, Ron,” she said in a voice that sounded overly sweet and sarcastic even to her ears.

“Really?!”

“Yes. But only after we actually start studying,” she smiled when she heard Ron groan.

“But we've been studying for hours!”

“Actually, we've been talking for the whole time we were supposed to be studying. You were the one who started it. If you had been quiet and just studied, both you and Harry would have me out of your hair before now.” She said matter-of-factly.

Ron groaned again.

But this time he shut up and started to actually study. Harry had already finished the essay during the time his best friends were arguing -they had been doing so for half an hour- he hadn't just watched people fly around on their brooms.

And the fact that it was their DADA essay, was probably one of the reasons why he finished it so quickly. It was an easy subject. Most of the time.
