"Ji-Hoon hurry up! The bus will be here soon" a small grunt leaving the Alpahs lips as he tried running down the stairs while placing on his shoes "just... give me a sec" Finally getting right his shoes "good morning papa" giving the black haired omega a kiss on the cheek and then taking a seat by the table "here eat well" getting a pat on the head while his dad took a seat beside him "is jungkook coming today?" His question slightly surprising the parent but still got a smile from him "I don't know if he will be busy" Chewing his own food before blurting out the question "did you want to see him?" The boy shrugged taking another bite of his breakfast "I will give him a call and see if he can stop by today" combing back the little alphas brown locks "okay" he mumbled seeming uninterested but jimin still managed to see his small smile his son tried hiding.
"Have you thought what you want for your birthday? You will soon turn 13" his smile getting bigger at how fast his son would be turning that age "how about a puppy?" Sparkly eyes looking up at him "I don't think so" softly chuckling a honk making him look up "alright the bus is here, I will pick you up" the boy nodded giving his dads cheek another kiss to then grab his lunch bag "have a nice day honey!" His kid heard his parent before closing the door.
"Okay make sure to send me these" the younger man nodded before making his way back to his seat, the brunettes ringing phone making him look away from his work "hello?" A smile right away tugging at his lips at the sweet voice emerging from the other side "hi jungkook" his grin wide as ever "jimin... hi, how are you? Sorry we haven't talked in a while I wa-" the giggle of the omega on the other side of the line making him stop his words "i'm doing great thanks for asking, and don't worry Iguess yoy would be busy with work" he hummed leaning back on his seat "I actually called because of Ji-Hoon" a frown on the alphas face "is he alright? Did anything happen?" He hurried to ask worried over the olders son "Don't worry he is fine, he was just... missing you, and so was i" jungkook bite down on his lip trying to suppress his smile but failed to.
"Really?" He heard jimin hum and he actually had to maintain himself in check so he wouldn't squeal at the office "will you stop by today? Maybe for lunch?" His smile falling "I can't, I have a lot of work" a small whine from the older "but I could make it for dinner it that's okay with you ofcourse" nervously chewing on his bottom lip "I wouldn't mind, see you tonight then, don't skip your meals" his smile back while biding their goodbyes and then hanging up.
Later that day after picking up his son and eating together jimin stayed at the kitchen debating what he should cook for dinner when the taller Alpha stopped by "papa?" He heard his son who entered the kitchen "what's it honey?" Looking up from the book to his son taking a seat beside him "is jungkook coming over?" Jimin nodded at his little alpha "he will come for dinner though, you alright?" Pulling into a small hug the young boy "yeah i was just curious" jimin smiled feeling the younger hug him back making him wrap both arms around his son "how about you do some of your homework and then you can help me do dinner?" He felt the boy nod to then let him slip away from his arms so he could do his school work while he decided what to cook.
As soon as the alpha placed foot on their home his nose was filled with the smell of forest and cherry both scents from the black haired omega and his little alpha "jungkook!" Speaking of the devil, Ji-Hoon threw himself to the older alpha jungkook not minding when the younger took a deep breath of his wooden scent "hi buddy" hugging back the 12 year old while giving him a small pat on the back "Where's your papa?" He signaled to the kitchen from where the smell of cherry became even more strong "hi" he was barely able to blurt out the greeting as he stared agape at the beautiful omega cooking by the stove while lightly humming moving his hips to his own singing "jungkook!" As cheerful as ji-hoon jimin greeted him turning off the stove approaching him, the tallers alpha leaped in excitement at the sight of the older, and as soon as jimin was close enough to him he pulled the petite man into his embrace placing a kiss to the top of his head making him lightly laugh "I missed you" his words mumbled for just the older to hear "I missed you too"
When jimin looked up all jungkook wanted was to peck his plump lips but knowing they where barely official for ji-hoon he obliged himself to pull away "sorry" knowing the omega had sensed his desire to kiss him he only got a small smile from the black haired man "come on take a seat, I had just finished cooking" right on time ji-hoon emerging taking a seat beside jungkook jimin serving the food to then take a seat in front of his son "how have you been ji-hoon?" Jungkook starting a conversation with the young boy "great! I got my grades up and I just finished my project" the brunette rose his brows in surprise "that's great bud, then what would you like for your birthday? It's approaching very quick" finishing the question as the boy gave a thoughtful look "I am not sure, anything you give me I will like it kook" smiling at the man before taking a huge bite of his food "Mm papa these is great"
"It is" jungkook agreed to the compliment glancing at the man on the other side of the table while chewing at his own piece of food "good to hear" jimin returned the smile as both adults listened attentively to what ji-hoon had to say.
After dinner they sat at the living rooms floor while building up a jenga playing around "no!" Jungkook shouted making ji-hoon laugh as the newly built tower fell "ji-hoon can I ask something?" Jungkook suddenly said his serious expression catching jimin off guard who only payed attention to his sons and, possibly, boyfriends interaction as his son gave the older alpha a small nod starting to build a new tower so they could play once again "I know that before me you and jimin where alone, without an alpha to take care of you both" jimin could feel where these was going and did was nervous at how his son would react, watching the boy stop his movements "may I be that alpha now? May i be the one to take care of both you and your papa?" The tenderness on jungkooks voice had tears building in the omegas eyes "you have taken care of him for a long time now and now that I'm here all I want you to do is enjoy your youth"
A small pause as jungkook awaited for the young alpha to answer "will... will you always make sure that papa is okay?" A small glare on the boys eyes as he stared up at the taller man "yes ji-hoon, I want to take care of you both, I'm here for all of it" at these point jimin was silently crying out of happiness, his sons small hand extended "then promise to always take good care of us" jungkooks own smile spreading as he took the youngers hand on his larger one "I promise"
