He just wanted to take a nice long walk, just that, he never expected that one car to speed the way it did.
"Dr.Jeon?" His main nurse spoke making him glance back at him his smile slowly falling at the seriousness of the nurse "I need you to come with me" the man starting to walk away jungkook right away following "what do we have?" Together approaching the operating rooms "male around his mid 20s, pregnant, got hitted by a car driver was drunk" about to open the door but stopped by the nurses hand pulling him back "Dr.Jeon, it's your husband" frown deepening heart beat accelerating, his words couldn't be true.
"He is in grave condition you where the only one that was free" not wasting more time and opening the door, there on the operating table laid his beloved husband, unconscious and connected to the beeping machine his blonde hair covered in blood face slightly stained with it and 7 month old belly covered by the thin cloth of the hospital gown "Dr.Jeon we need to pull the baby out given to your husband's condition or both of their lives would be at risk"
As much as it pained him to see the love of his life and the one carrying his child he had to get to work.
"Okay"
Not long after he was reciving his daughter barely able to look at her as she was taken from his grasp to get cleaned, then he pulled out the rest of the umbilical cord to finally clean away the blood and close back the skin layers "no no" he was done with the process of the surgery but jimins heart beat had stopped "no no no, bring the cardioversion!" The nurses rushing to bring over named machine "stay with me, stay with me" not wasting time to connect the machine and prepare, but as the first wave went he didn't have a heart beat.
"Come on baby come back to me" the second wave and still nothing "please don't leave me" third one and his tears had started to roll down his cheeks "please please" his pleading the only thing heard as the fourth wave went, everyone sadly looking at the doctor "don't leave us" fifth one.
Jungkooks head falling sobs leaving his mouth "come back to me, please"

The beeping was barely audible in his sleep that he could hardly get but the feeling of movement from the man whose hand he was holding made him shoot up and look down at his husbands brows forming a frown before the blonde squinted his eyes open "jimin?" Standing up letting go of the blondes hand who heaved out a sigh "jungkook? Where are we?" Voice groggy, jungkook raised the bed and took a glass of water on his hand "drink some water" helping his husband to sip from the glass.
"Jungkook where-" the feeling of his smaller belly making sudden panick rush over him "the baby- where's my baby?" Tears welling up, jimin tried to stand up but got softly pushed back down getting shushed by the older "she is okay she is okay, you need to rest enough I will ask a nurse to bring her from the nursery" the blonde nodded laying back on the bed "does anything hurt?" Jimin shook his head "open your eyes I need to check you" he obliged the bright light of jungkooks lantern hitting his eyes and allowed him to do the check up.
"How long have I been asleep?" Looking up from the papers by jimins bed writing down everything "just for two days, do you remember what happened?" Staying quiet for a brief moment "I remember going on a walk and... there was a car it was going fast, I was near the grocery shop... then- then" jungkook took again the chair beside jimins bed and held his hand once again "I thought I had lost you" now jungkook spoke, voice quivering "you where hitted by a car and was bringed in urgency" sniffling fresh tears brimming at his eyes "I had to perform a cesarean so the baby wouldn't be risked... but then-"
"Your heart beat stopped" looking down at his hands holding jimins while crying at the painful memory "jungkook..." voice soft while reaching for his husbands face to make him look up "jungkook I'm here now, I'm fine, you saved me and our daughter" he nodded sniffling at the thought of losing either of them "I was scared, scared of doing something wrong" Teary eyes looking at his husbands honey ones.
"But you did nothing wrong" taking jungkooks face between his hands "and if something had gone wrong you should not blame yourself because you tried your best, but I'm here and so is our baby, that's all that matters" kissing the olders forhead then resting his own against jungkooks "I love you okay?" Jungkook softly nodded the door suddenly opening a nurse entering while pushing a crib "Dr.Jeon?" Named man stood up and took the crib from her "thank you, bring me some pain killers just in case" she nodded and left, jungkook cleaned his tears and took in his arms the sleeping girl "here she is"
Leaning down to hand jimin their daughter, right away the blonde started cradle the tiny life in his arms tearing up at the sight "she is so small" glossy eyes stuck to the little girl "we had her under check since she was born two months early" the door opened again the same nurse entering the room and giving jungkook the pills he had asked for.
"She is so beautiful"
