Loud laughter was the first thing he heard once stepping foot into his house, laughter that came from the kitchen and laughter that provoked an unconscious smile to pull at his lips as he made his way past the living room and into the kitchen where not only the laughter faded at his arrival but he also found his husband covered from head to toe in flour, appearance that matched their daughters who broke the silence at starting to loudly laugh giving both parents a big toothed grin.
Jimin soon joining his daughter at laughing while jungkook shook his head "welcome home my dear husband" was the greeting he got when the blonde finally controlled his laughter the icing bag still on his small hands "these kitchen is a mess" walking to his husband and daughter while looking around the kitchen "don't ruin our fun just yet" jimin said smiling up at him and then giving his cheek a small kiss leaving behind a little of flour "what are you both baking?" Leaning down to hug their daughter who gladly returned the affectionate gesture covering her dads black suit on flour.
"I got a new recipe for my baking book so we where just trying it" jimins smile wide making his eyes close "is that so?" He nodded and jungkook smiled at them both, taking off his jacket and rolling up his sleeves "I will give you some help then"
And not even half an hour later he was covered in flour, the little girl and blonde man laughing at the black haired man who took a deep breath and glared at his family "you both are so mean" whining before resuming to do the cake mix "aw don't be such a grumpy man" now jimin returning to do the icing while their daughter took a break and tested the cookies "are they good?" looking up at their daughter who smiled and babbled out a 'yes'
"She is doing it very well" jungkook complimented getting his daughters toothed grin while her eyes became small "she helped a lot before you came home" a ding from the oven making jimin pull out cupcakes he had prepared with his daughter "she helped me do these ones" jungkooks brows raising while jimin pulled one warm cupcake moving it up to jungkooks lips for him to try "Mm they are good" his voice slightly muffled by having the warm bread on his mouth, their daughter giving a happy squeak at having jungkook like what she helped to get baked "she is a little chef, takes after you" softly giving jimin a small kiss "why thank you for the flattering"
