Chrysanthemum: The flower is considered a perfect Mother's Day gift because of the word "mum" in it that means mother. It signifies long life, friendship, and well wishes to the expectant mother.
Jimin beamed in excitement as he finished reading what the flowers in his mind meant, just what he had looked for, with a happy grin on his face he left the apartment with the test on his purse to make his way to his boyfriends very own flower shop.
The couple have been together for quite a while, 6 years to be exact, and as any other couple they had their ups and downs but eventually made it through, they had met on a flower festival the small town they lived in always held and that year it was jimin who was in charge and jungkook one of the many florists that gave his help with the decorations.
As in for these very moment jimin had found the perfect way to tell the news of his pregnancy to his beloved florist boyfriend who would absolutely know the meaning of the flowers jimin meant to ask him.
As soon as the shop came into view he pulled over parking right in front of the store where he right away spotted the long black locks of his boyfriend along his broad back facing the window, the blonde stepped out of his car and made his way inside "welc-" interrupting himself once his eyes landed on the man he so much loved "hi baby" letting go of the flowers he was picking and cleaning his hands on his apron to hug the shorter, pulling away giving jimins forhead a small kiss "what are you doing here? I thought we would meet at the restaurant" jimins lips parting into a smile.
"Well I thought we could just drive together there" jungkooks own smile big as he picked up the flowers once again and made his way to the front desk "alright just let me finish these bouquet and we can leave" jimin hummed walking in front of the desk and leaning against it "I would actually like a bouquet too" a hand underneath his chin while looking up at the bunny smiling man "is that so?" Getting a hum from his blonde boyfriend "what flowers do you want?" He asked wrapping the flowers on a red ribbon and placing them aside so he could lean down and peck jimins plump lips.
"I want some Chrysanthemums" jungkooks brows raised in a little bit out of surprise "you have them right?" Jungkook nodded signaling at one of the far corners of the shop where named flowers where "I will make you one then" walking over to the flowers jimin wanted and picking out a few to then return to the desk starting to get done the bouquet "do you even know what they mean?" Jungkook asked breaking the silence "i do know" looking up at his boyfriends chocolate orbs "they are good flowers for mothers because of the mum in the name" jungkook hummed with a small smile at his boyfriends acknowledged.
"That's why they are good for me" jimin added making jungkook stop doing the bouquet "what do you mean?" Confused he frowned looking up from the flowers "they are also good flowers to give to an expectant mom, they are good for me" realization starting to down on the black haired man "are- are you?..." Jimin nodded pulling out from his bag the positive pregnancy test "o-oh my god" with shaky hands jungkook took on his hands the test, eyes darting from jimin to the test on his hands.
He sat back in complete shock making jimin worry "jungkook? What's wrong?" Approaching the man to be suddenly embraced by the florist "i'm so happy! These- these is... wow" still trying to process it making jimin giggle "I was so happy when i found out" widely smiling down at his very happy boyfriend while combing his black locks back "since when?"
"I found out five days ago but the test says I'm six weeks" jungkooks eyes bright in pure happiness "gosh I love you so much" Standing up still holding jimins waist and leaning down to kiss the blonde "and I love our little one" pressing another kiss to the shorters lips "and I love you too" now jimin spoke pecking jungkooks lips.
