30 minutes later, Bishop was still hugging, tight onto Jack. "Hey, Ellie. I'm not dead yet but I might be if you keep squeezing me like that," Jack said and chuckled. "Sorry. I just really missed you," Bishop said and moved away from Jack.
"I missed you all, too but you have to understand why I did this. I had to catch the men who kidnapped those girls," Jack said. "Yo, Jack can I ask ya something?," Torres asked. "Yeah, Nick. What is it?," Jack asked him.
"Why do you care so much about these girls? Not that I don't care for them but you seem like... sorry. I don't wanna say the wrong thing," Torres said. "No, no. Nick you aren't. Well, actually. Um," Jack said, searching for the right way to say it.
Everyone was there. Leon, Kasie, Palmer, Duckie, Ellie, Nick, McGee and even her husband, Jethro, were in front of her waiting for an answer. None of them knew about it. "Well, erm. Um," she said. As soon as she thought about the details of what happened, a tear dropped from her eye. She knew everyone noticed because she heard them all take a deep breath. More tears started falling and she just couldn't keep it in anymore.
"I-I-I was kidnapped b-by men wh-wh-when I was th-th-th-thirteen," Jack said, between sobs. Jethro ran over to her and started to wrap his arms around her in a comforting hug. After a few minutes, Jack stopped crying. "Jack, yo, I'm sorry," Torres said with a look of sympathy on his face. Jethro moved away from Jack.
"Nick. No. It's not your fault. I needed to let it out," Jack said, forcing a smile. "Everyone get back to work! We need to take down the bastards who kidnapped those little girls!," Vance said and walked back to his office. Bishop, McGee and Torres quickly sit down at their desks.
"Jack, if you need to take a break, maybe call Grace or fix your makeup, you can," Jethro said, looking at Jack. "Thanks Cowboy but I'm fine," Jack said, smiling. Jethro walked over to his desk and grabbed a tissue from the box. He walked back over to Jack and wiped the smudged mascara off of his wife's beautiful face. "Thank you, Cowboy," Jack said.
"Eww. Sappy romance," Torres said with a disgusted face. "Shut up, Nick! They haven't seen each other for some time. And you just keep being an insensitive asshole. Can't you just shut up for once and get to work like the Director said, you prick!," Bishop yelled at Torres and stood up. She stormed out. She walked to the elevator.
