As many do when faced with a situation even vaguely similar, Laura was quick to turn to the internet as a way to handle her emotions and look for possible solutions, yet she quickly found herself clicking on the same articles, no matter how much she reworded the statement; 'my son disappeared with no trace,' and even the new articles she found gave the exact same information, 'call his friend's parents, if his isn't back in a certain amount of time then go to the police, etcetera'

It was frustrating beyond belief, and perhaps the paranoia had ruined her, but she always found herself looking at the conspiracy theory articles about people who had randomly been sucked back in time with complete fascination. It fit, she couldn't deny that, it fit perfectly. As she got more desperate, she began to look up how to get into the dark web, without exactly knowing how she thought it would help, it had been something she had wanted to indulge in since she had learned of the place's existence, but never did for fear of her own safety, not to mention Samual's.

She spent the day looking at a series of deeply disturbing pictures and articles, with frequent breaks to compose herself, and soon, it paid off when she found a list of 'secret society' call numbers. Of course, it was most likely a hoax, but nevertheless, she clicked on the information link to one labelled 'Project Wormhole,' and the resulting article about their mission to fix the random glitches in the space time continuum, was enough for her to pick up her phone, and call them.
