"You. Saddle up. We're going home." Stoick points at Hiccup, "No." He says, "Of all the irresponsible-" Hiccup interrupts Stoick, "I'm trying to protect our dragons and prevent a war! How is that irresponsible?!" Hiccup asks, "Because war is what he wants son!" He glares at Hiccup then sighs, "Years ago there was a great gathering of chieftains to discuss the dragon scares we all faced and to amidst there came a stranger from a strange land. Covered in scars and draped in a cloak of black dragon skin." I perked up and Hiccup looked at me, "He carried no weapon and spoke softly, saying that he Drago Bludvist was a man of the people devoted to freeing mankind from the tyranny of dragons. He claimed that he alone could could control the dragons and that he alone could keep us safe. If we chose to bow down and follow him." Stoick says his story, Snotlout and Fishlegs burst out laughing, "Good one." Tuff wipes a tear forming in his eye as he laughs, "Yes, we laughed too. Until he wrapped himself in his cloak and cried out see how well you do without me. The rooftop suddenly burst into flames, from it armoured dragons descended burning the hall to the ground, I was the only one to escape." Everyone went silent again, I furrowed my brows and stared at the ground, parts of Stoick's story was overlapping with mine, "Armoured dragons, black cloak." I murmur, "Men who kill without reason cannot be reasoned with." Stoick says sternly, "Maybe. But I'm still gonna try." Hiccup gets on Toothless, "Hiccup!" Stoick walks to him, "This is what I'm good at and if I can change your mind I can change his too." He flies off, I look at Stoick and suddenly jump off the boat, Storm caught me and we shot after Hiccup, I knew he'd make me stay back so I used the sudden outburst to throw him off.
The two of us peeked above the clouds, the sun was already starting to set, I stared at him and pat Stormshear's neck, he growls and tenses his wings, I walk over and sit behind Hiccup, he screams, Storm and Toothless's ears flatten a little and I wince at his sudden outburst, he lays his head back into my chest, "I'm not gonna let anything happen to you, Toothless or Storm. I promise." He looks up at me, I start braiding a small section of his hair, "I know you will. You've somehow managed to stick to your promises even though I lost a part of my Hiccup." I look at his foot, he chuckles and leans into my touch, I start braiding another section and kiss the corner of his eye, I heard Toothless and Storm growl slightly, I sigh in content and stare up at the orange sky, I heard Hiccup groan, "Are you kidding me dad-?" He looks to his side, I follow his gaze and I flinched, accidentally tugging on his hair, "Oh, ow!" He grabs his hair, "Sorry." I say quickly and wrap my arms around his waist, we were both silent and stared at the person, Storm spun around to our side, I didn't take the risk at a time like this to jump back to him, they disappeared back down into the clouds, "Okay... no sudden moves." Hiccup says softly and pets my hands around his waist and Toothless's neck, suddenly a large dragon flew right in front of us, the person was riding it, Storm and Toothless abruptly stops, all the clouds churning around us, Storm roars, "Hold tight." Hiccup grips onto my hands, I held onto him with a bone crushing hug, the person points their staff at us, the dragon circles around and hovers, opening another set of wings, "Wow. Four wings." I gasped, "Hold on. Hold on." Hiccup was shocked, the three dragons growling and roaring at each other, we heard another roar from behind us and I saw a dragon kick me off Toothless and grabbed Hiccup, "HICCUP!" I screamed, "NAT!" He yells, Storm dives after me but another dragon grabbed him, he roars out desperately to me, "Toothless! Come on bud! This way!" I try to reach out to his saddle, he tried to fly over to me but the two of us were spinning out of control, the icy water fast approaching, "NO!" I saw his tail whipping towards me and the last thing I remember was getting hit by his muscular tail and the blurry sight of black wings wrapping around me before I blacked out.
- Hiccup POV -
I saw Nat and Toothless plummeting down, "HICCUP!" She screams, "NAT!" I yell out to her, I saw her desperately trying to get onto Toothless's saddle but they were falling and spinning out of control, "NO!" I saw her get whipped by Toothless's tail and she lay limp as she was fast approaching the water, "NO! NAT!" I thrashed around the dragon's talons, "NO! NO!" I saw Toothless flap towards her and encase her in his wings before they crashing through the sheet of ice and fell into the water, I saw him surface and roar out to me, my eyes scanned the water and I couldn't see her at all. "Hey! You left my dragon and my girlfriend back there! He can't fly on his own he'll drown, she got knocked unconscious! She'll die!" I yell at the person but they didn't even turn around, "No, no, no, no, no." I try to keep as many thoughts of Nat's body out of my mind, I could only think of the worst, I saw the glacier of ice, the same as the ice that blasted Eret's fort, we flew in and I was thrown to the floor, I saw a circle of dragons around me, "We have to go back for my girlfriend and my dragon!" I look around, all the dragons were closing in, Storm wrapped his tail around me and growled, I pet his head and held my sword and ignited the Monstrous Nightmare saliva, swirling it around me, all the dragons growling softly and following the firey blade, I heard a snarl and I whipped around, changing my cartridge and used the Zippleback gas, creating a circle around me and sparking it, blowing up a circle putting them at a comfortable distance, I held my hand out and went to put it on a dragon's snout when I heard a sound and I saw the person from before, "Who are you? The dragon thief? Uh... Drago Bludvist? DO you even understand what I'm saying?!" I ask them, they spin their staff around their head and hit it on the ground, small sections inside the staff spin around and make a sound, there was a roar and I saw a dragon fly over and drop Toothless on the floor, "Toothless!" I run over to him and rub his head, "It's okay, it's okay. Glad to see you too bud." I hug his head, "You really had me worried there." He licks my head, I spin around, "W-Where's my girlfriend?" I look for Nat, the person spins their staff around again and another dragon flies over us and drops her on the ground harshly, "No, no, no!" I saw her lay limp, not moving at all, I run over to her and lift her up, brushing the wet hair out of her face, "Nat? Come on Gorgeous, come back to me." I lay my ear to her chest and I heard her beating heart, that was a slight reassurance, I saw her bruised cheek and cut lip, blood beading, I used my thumb and wiped it away, I put my finger under her nose and I felt a faint breath. They poked the chin of a dragon and all of them created a flame in their mouths lighting up the area, I saw the condition Nat was in, my heart clenched, Storm and Toothless curled around us, baring their teeth as the person walked closer, they dropped their staff and shield, walking over, they flipped their hands and Storm and Toothless flopped on the ground growling in content, they walked closer to me and I held Nat tighter to my body, they reached out to my cheek, "Uh... uh..." I tried to back away, they gasped, "Hiccup?" It was a woman's voice, she backed away, "Uh..." I was confused, she takes her mask off, "Could it be? After all these years? How is this possible?" She stares at me, "Should I... uh should I know you?" I held Nat's unconscious body into my neck and protect her from the woman, "No. You were only a babe. But a mother never forgets." She says, my eyes widen and I gasp, "Shhh." She calms me down, "Come." She runs off.
"U-Uh hold on just a minute! Come back here!" I shout as we twist and turn through the small tunnels, I carried Nat in my arms, she was still limp in my arms, "Oh Gods." I shield her head as I cover her head and graze my hand instead, "Come." She wags her hand, "You can't just say something like that and run off. My girlfriend is still unconscious thanks to you and your dragons. You're my mother?! I mean do you understand how insane that sounds!" I try to keep up with her, "Come. Quickly." She scaled up a small wall, "I have questions! Where have you been all this time?!" I got stuck and couldn't climb up, Storm bent down so I could step on his back, "What have you been doing? They all said you were dead! Everyone thinks you were eaten by a-" I walk out of the tunnel and I saw an oasis of dragons and ice, my eyes widen, moss and greenery covered everything.
