Nat doesn't like the crowds, in fact, she doesn't like meeting new people. But she owed Tony, which is why she's here, at a party, that she really was not fond of. She knew that Tony needed someone to accompany him to this party- because he was hoping that he could ask a certain businessman to partner up with him in this new project of his, which she doesn't really know what- and everyone seemed busy, except her.
The party hasn't really been that bad, except when Tony excused himself to talk to the businessman and now she's all by herself, at the bar, sipping on some whiskey to distract herself from feeling left out.
Until she saw a beautiful redhead from a distance, talking to some man. Nat didn't know that she's been staring at the girl, long enough for them to make an eye contact. Nat noticed the uncomfortable look on the girl's face as the man was basically shoving himself to the redhead who seemed really uninterested.
She knew that she needed to save the girl from the shameless man, so she walked up to them.
"Hey babe, who's this?" Nat asked, placing her arm around the woman's waist, she looked at the redhead, who now has a relieved look on her face.
"Oh babe, hi!" the redhead replied, as she smiled, then leaned in to Nat's ear to whisper, "Thanks"
"Nat Romanoff, I didn't realize that this is your girlfriend, forgive me" the shameless man is not really so shameless now, huh.
"No worries, but don't hit on her again or you'll know what's gonna happen" Nat smirked at the last part, making the man gulp in fear, then nodded and quickly excused himself.
"God, I didn't think that he was gonna stop soon, thanks for stepping in"
"I noticed that you were uncomfortable so I decided to step in" the two of them laughed, as Wanda straightened herself and said,
"I'm Wanda, Wanda Maximoff" the redhead, Wanda offered a hand for Nat to shake, blushing and instead of taking the hand shake, the Russian kissed the other redhead's cheek causing Wanda to blush even more.
Finally, a pretty name for a pretty face, Nat thought.
After Nat pulled out, she smiled and said, "Natasha Romanoff"
