ANIDITA- HEART BROKEN (On Hold)

Chapter 1

Bondita was lying on the bed lifeless gazing at the ceiling. Her face looked pale. She didn't have that beaming smile on her face, the smile which could make anyone smile. She was not the same "Tark Karne Wali Bondita" rather a Bondita who would sit in a corner crying the whole day, cursing her fate. The reason behind all this was the great Barrister Anirudh Roy Choudhury. Her so called "Pati Babu" had gifted her something which she cannot forget in her life. Her Rashak Babu, who used to solve all her problems, who used to save her, himself broke her heart. Her Shishak Babu who taught her the difference between good and bad , right and wrong had himself taken a wrong decision. Her Rakshas Babu, who used to bring a smile on her face by sometimes cracking silly jokes, had himself snatched away the smile from her face. Lastly, her Pati babu, who taught her to dream big, had  himself broken all her dreams and expectations
The person who had promised her to be by her side throughout his life had broken his promise. She broke down completely when she realized that
Her Pati Babu is not her Pati Babu anymore but someone else's Pati babu.

Flashback:-
Bondita was sitting in her room. She was waiting for Anirudh who was not at home. Preparations were going on for Manorama's wedding and Bondita was the one who was looking after all the preparations. She had been working the whole day and finally got some time to rest. The whole mansion was decorated beautifully with colourful flowers and bright lights. Suddenly she heard some noises coming from the main hall. As she stepped down, her face grew pale.
Anirudh was standing at the main door wearing a dhoti and kurta with a varnmala around his neck. Beside him stood Manorama in bridal attire with sindoor on her head, a varnmala around her neck and shankha polas. She came down with tears in her eyes.
"Pati babu", she murmured as she came closer to him. "Yeh sab kya hai Anirudh?", asked a raged Trilochan. Anirudh stood silently with his eyes fixed to the ground.

"Maine Manorama se shaadi kar liya hai Kaka.", Anirudh said still looking down. "KYA!!!", Kaka yelled at him. Bondita came forward and said shaking him," Aap jhoot bol rahe hai na Pati Babu? Zaroor aap mazak kar rahe hai.", said Bondita looking at him hopefully.
"Nahi Bondita. Maine sach mein shaadi kar liya hai Manorama se.", shouted Anirudh unable to control himself anymore which shook Bondita completely. "Aapne kyu kiya yeh vivah? Aapne hi toh mujhe samjhaya tha na ki bahuvivah (Polygamy/बहुविवाह) galat hai. Aapne hi kaha tha na ki jo admi do do shaadiya karta hai woh pati kehelane ke laayak nahi. Aapne hi samjhaya tha na ki bahuvivah jaisi kuprathaye aurton se unka atma samman cheen leti hai. Phir aapne aisa kyu kiya Barrister Babu?", asked Bondita as tears flowed down her cheeks. Anirudh looked at her shocked when he heard her say Barrister Babu. He remembered her saying once,"Apna pan toh Biristara Babu kehene mein aata hai"
He closed his eyes and controlled his emotions. "Kyu aapne ek baar bhi mere baareme, apne parivaar ke baareme nahi socha. Iska matlab aap pati babu kehelane ke layak nahi hai Barrister Babu. ", saying this Bondita ran into her room and closed the door while saw her going with teary eyes. "Hum Manorama ko iss ghar ki bahu kabhi nahi manenge Anirudh. Humari bahu sirf Bondita hi hai aur Bondita hi rahegi.", Kaka said sternly glaring at Manorama. "Aap mano yaa na mano yeh iss ghar ki bahu hai aur rahegi", Anirudh said with a heavy heart and ran into his room.

Bondita ran into her room and closed the door and cried bitterly kneeling down. "Kyu pati babu kyu?? Kya galti kiya tha maine jo apne mujhe itni badi sazaa dedi? Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki pati babu mere saath aisa karenge. Main unko iss ke liye kabhi maaf nahi karungi.", said Bondita with anger. But soon her anger was replaced by  loud sobs. She was helpless, devastated and shattered. All she could do was to cry and let out her pain which had become unbearable by now.
