December.....
It had been a month since I was sick with a bad fever. I felt so much better the next day. I followed Carlisle's orders. I remembered Jasper kissing my head. I didn't tell him about it though. Esme came by and dropped some soup off for me. I was very thankful for her. She was worried about me when she heard that I was sick. It was like a mother worrying about her own sick child. I thanked her for worrying. I felt that she was like a mother to me.
Snow fell in Forks. It had been a while since I had seen snow. I really lacked any winter clothes. Alice had gotten me a winter coat after noticing that I wasn't wearing any suitable winter clothing. I tried to give her money, but she didn't want it. I felt that the Cullen family was really looking after me. I was very thankful.
The bell rang after my history class. Winter break started and I was happy. The diner gave me the winter break off. I would still get paid though. They said that I needed a break. I needed to buy some presents for the Cullen since they had been so nice to me.
I went into town and got some gifts. I got Carlisle an engraved pen. Esme a nice decorative plate, a video game for Emmett, Alice a hairpin, Rosalie a bag, Edward a nice hat, and Jasper a Confederate Army book. I knew that everything costed a lot of money, but I really wanted to repay them back for everything that they hidden for me.
When I got home, I wrapped everything. "I hope they like their presents," I said to myself. I put every present in bags so that I could give it to Jasper or any of his siblings to take back to their place. It was the afternoon when I heard the door bell ring. I walked to the door and opened it to see Jasper standing there.
"Jasper. What are you doing here?" I asked him surprised. "I was going to drop you off home. The lady in the diner said that she gave you the winter break off. I thought that I drop by to see you," he said. {He came all this way to see me?} I blushed at the thought. "Um...thank you," I said to him. He gave me a smile.
"Would you like to come in?" I asked. He shook his head. "Its alright darlin'. Some other time," he said. I gave him a nod. Before I thought he would turn away, I thought of something. "Oh wait a minute, I have something for you," I said. I quickly went to my room to get the bags and bring them to Jasper. I gave Jasper the presents. "These are for your family and you," I told him.
He took the bags from my hands and gave me a smile. "You didn't have to do this," he said to me. I shook my head. "You and your family had done so much for me. This is a way to repay you all have done for me," I said with a smile. He gave me a nod. "Thank you. My parents were wondering if you would like to spend Christmas with us," he said.
I was surprised at the offer. "Your family want me to spend Christmas with them?" I asked. He gave me a smile. "They see you as part of the family already," he said. I wanted to cry. They thought of me as part of their family. I nodded my head. "I would love to," I told him. His smile grew a bit.
"Also, I would like to ask you out on a date tomorrow night," he said. This was way too much. So many good things kept happening to me. "Yes. I would love to," I told him. "I'll pick you up at six," he told me. I nodded my head. He left to his car. Before he went inside, he looked at me with a smile. I smiled back and waved to him. He went inside the car and drove off.
I closed the door and thought about everything that had just happen.
{Jasper Hale had asked me out on a date!}
