𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 2

I headed to the nearest Mcdonalds and fell asleep in the parking lot. I woke up the next morning just before the sun started to rise. I was starting to get really sweaty in my humid car so I rolled down my window to get some cold, fresh air before the heat took over. I throw my hair up into a messy bun and start my car.

"Ok so, If I head into a nearby state I could have a fresh start ." I say to myself. "I'll stay in a hotel room or maybe even crash at someone's house." I start heading in the direction of North Carolina... I've heard lots of good things about it!

As I hop onto the highway I turn on the stereo. It connects to my phone and starts shuffling through my playlists. All of a sudden, Your New Boyfriend by Wilbur Soot starts playing.

"BUT HE'S IN YOUR BED, AND I'M IN YOUR TWITCH CHAT BUMBADUMBADUMBUM BUNBADUMBADUMBUM" I scream all of the lyrics and fan girl over Wilbur Soot.

2 hours later...

My stomach starts to growl so I take an exit off the highway for a pit-stop at Starbucks. I pull into a parking stall and make my way inside. I head to the bathroom first, and then I go back to the lobby to get in the line.

"Hi, could I please get a venti iced white mocha with caramel drizzle and vanilla sweet cream cold foam and a regular croissant?" The girl smiles and punches in my order. I then pay and walk over to wait for my food.

I get back to my car and scroll through instagram while i finish my brunch. After i'm done, I pull out my diary and flip to an empty page. I write down the date 𝐽𝑢𝑙𝑦 11𝑡ℎ and I start writing about my day. 𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑟𝑦, 𝐼 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑖𝑡. 𝐼 𝑙𝑒𝑓𝑡. 𝐼 𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑝 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑜𝑟. 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑓𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑜𝑚. 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑓𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑏ℎ. 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑜𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑁𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒-𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑖𝑛 ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑡 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 :) 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑏𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑠 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑙𝑜𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝐴𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑠, 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑢𝑝𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑚𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛!!

I place my diary on the passenger seat beside me and start driving again. After about half an hour, I remember something.

"HOLY SHIT" I stop my car and pull over. I met a girl on a discord server a few months ago from Greenville. "Hold on let's see If she remembers who I am."

'oh my fucking god, she's a life saver' I sigh in relief and check the approximate distance. "Okay so that will be about 7 hours, and it's 3:17pm now. I'll just find a parking lot to rest in for the night and start up again tomorrow.
