Gemma's POV
Father has already spoken to King James about my party. He says William and Michael will be attending, however King James won't be there. I'm fine with that, though. I honestly just want to see Will.

As I was reading, I noticed something at the door of my balcony.
William.
"We can't keep meeting like this." He teased as I opened the door.
"What are you doing here?" I whispered.
"I came to see you!"
I rolled my eyes, "Okay well you've see me, now leave. Hurry, before someone sees you!"
"Fine. I came here to tell you something. I- I cant keep it in any longer."
"What is it?"
"I- I um- I-"
"Just say it!"
"I think I like you."
"WHAT?"
"GEMMA? Is everything alright?" I heard mother say.
"Go!" I told Will.
My mother walked into my bedroom, "Is everything alright Gem?"
"Y- yes! Everything's fine."
"What was all that noise? Were you talking to someone?"
"N- no." I never lie to mother...
"Gemma, you seem a little shaken up. Are you sure everything's alright?"
"Yes I'm sure. I'm just nervous for my birthday party that's all."
"Oh alright then. There's nothing to worry about! You probably won't even have to say anything. Just wave at the guests, that's all."
"That makes me feel much better, mother!"
"I'm glad!" She replied, then walked out.
There's a lot to take in.
William just told me he l- likes me?
William Richards?
Kings James' son?
Likes ME?
This can't be real life.

Today's my birthday party.
Normally I'd be excited.
Not this year.
I haven't spoken to Will since he told me he likes me.
I know for a fact he's coming tonight because his father gave my father his word and King James ALWAYS keeps his word.
"This is absolutely horrible! He told me he LIKES me! W- what if he asked me if I like him back tonight?" I complained to Jenna, as we got ready for the party.
