you're being chased, so

you run, so far, so fast, but

you're scared of getting caught

you stop running and change course, but

you're being tracked, so

you dig, so deep, so fast, but you're scared to be found

so very scared, so

you stop digging and look around, but

you're still being sought, so

you hide, so quiet, so still

Still scared, still so deep, still not far, still too high

they're getting closer

they will find me, right?
