Darling, there are things
we cannot understand
the wind in willows
words in the sandphilosophers will preach
therefores and whatnots
never to agree
across the aeonsI could tell you how you shine
brighter than the sun
sparkle like the north star
twinkle like a wand
smile like the moon
beam like rays
glow like the river
shyaway like the day
you look like venus
smell like bamboos
feel like an end, a beginning,
and taste like honeydewI could try to go on
do my best to explain
that which language
has yet to conveyAnd, darling there are things
we cannot understand
let's not waste the metre
on words in the sand
