Nothing exciting happend for the rest of the day. I didnt run into Dirk or his lackeys, nor did I have any more classes with Alexandra.  At least I thought I didnt have any more classes with her until the end of the day. Stepping into my drama class and seeing that we have a seating chart, coincidentally mines being the partner seat to Alexandra's had me winded. Fortunately nothing bizarre happened in that class. As soon as I sat down everyone's eyes immediately went to us, their noisy behinds can't wait for whatever else drama we'll bring on the first day. It seems like our dispute earlier really affected Al, because she didn't say anything towards me that whole period. Actually laying her head down and going to sleep. Despite the peace and quiet I kind of felt dejected that she didn't wanna talk to me. Or at least didn't find me interesting anymore, but why should I care.

Stepping out of the school, I actually decide to walk home. Knowing my dad is working and my bestfriend been missing ever since lunch, I think it was right for me to get some alone time. Taking out my phone, and plugging in my headphones I shuffle my Playlist. "Powerless" by Waterparks starts playing, making me feel like I'm in the opening intro of a movie. A coming of age movie to be exact, just like Alexandra said.

Stepping into the house, I lock the door back and go upstairs to my room. Starting on my homework, before eventually getting bored and looking on my phone. Serching through insta I see a video of today getting posted everywhere. Its the video of Alexandra and I kissing. I notice that all the videos are captioned with "Snow white and the dork". Ahaha how original, so funny, great humor. Not.

I turn off my phone, done with social media for the day. and turn to my side, deciding a nice nap would do for now.

~~~~ A week later ~~~~~
Its the weekend and I have plans with Lesley today. She never mentioned why she left me that day but I figured it was just to get out of the situation.  I dont mind anyway, there was nothing she would've been able to do at the time so. Walking into the quaint shop that I spent all summer here working, I sit down at one of the booths facing away from the door. Picking at my nails as I look around I finally see my favorite co-worker, or ex co-worker more likely. "Tj!" I scream. Her head snaps up from the counter she was cleaning infront of me, a look of confusion on her face before it turns into one of surprise. "My favorite cinnamon spice, I've missed you!" She walks around the counter and come hugs me, engulfing me  in her warm scent.
Tj, formally know as Natasha Johnson, and informally know as Tash, is a college student still working at the the bakery in her hometown. She's 22 and the nicest co-worker anyone could ask for. She started calling me cinnamon spice because she realized that when I'm not here, work is boring, and I "bring spice to her work life." Her words, not mines. When I was working here as a summer job, she showed me the ropes and honestly I would've struggles here without her since the only other workers are the owners, Mr and Mrs Bomel. And no offense but they're pretty old. Don't let that fool you though, they still have a lot of spring in their step and can still get "jiggy with it" is what I heard them say.
Pulling away from the hug I look at the brown skin love. Her dark chocolatey skin a great contrast with the yellow and white of her worker uniform. Giving the brightest smile she ask what am I doing here. "I'm just waiting for Lesley, but in the mean time can I get two mocha frappes and two chocolate eclairs?" I say to her, my soft smile breaking her like it always does. She giggle and walks away, nodding her head "Of course, I swear im weak for you. How do you not have the school wrapped around your finger?" Just like Lesley, Tj was my work bestfriend and knew  a lot about my school life. Always asking for the latest gossip and wondering what the students of her old high-school were getting up to.
Hearing the jingle of the bell above the door, I turn around expecting to see my best friend, instead I see a now pink haired Alexandra. And I have to say that pink hair is a nice contrast to her black clothes. Looking away instantly slump in my sleep, wishing I wore a hoodie over my dress. I hear Tj talk to hear but I can't hear anything she is saying over my own beating heart. Why my heart is beating so fast I dint understand but, I sit there and try to calm my hear down, doing my breathing exercises I use for working and stress. I feel the seat beside me dip, opening my eyes I again expect to see my bestfriend. And again I am met with a pink haired Alexandra.
