"Get in loser we're going shopping."
I look at her confused. What?
"What?"
"You know, 'Mean Girls' like the most iconic movie." She says as a matter of fact as if she didn't just break into my house.
"I know that, whyyyy are you in my room?" I ask, looking at her. She kind of looks like an ethreal being under the moonlight. "Its like-" I pause to look at my alarm on my desk, fucking 3am, devil hours.
"Why are you here so late, isn't your family worried?" I ask, I see her face sink, but its quickly replaced with a look of mischief.
"Let's go on an adventure." Al says, and for a second I give in cause of how soft her voice is. How sweet her eyes look, and how endearing she's making the whole ordeal sound.
I shake my head slowly, I can't just fall for her charms. "Why would I go on an adventure with you at 3am? What? Are we gonna sacrifice baby to your lord and savior?" I say, honestly I do belive shes a witch she just gives me those vibes. With a roll of her eyes she grabs my hand, hers are unsurprisingly cold, but soft. "No we're gonna go sacrifice baby kittens, come on." She pulls me to the window, halfway stepping out.
"Wait." I don't know why I say what I say next, I guess I'm just too tired or maybe under the influence of the night And a little but too wary of the fact that this might be the most fun I have all year, but I succeed. "I don't have any shoes on."
She smiles at that, a smile that makes feel warm and tingly all over. She lets go of my hand and allows me to put on some shoes, few minutes later I'm jumping out of the window to land in the hands of Alexandra. Her hands wrap around my thighs and arms, her cold hands sends an electrifying tingle down my spine, and goose bumps raise over my legs and arms. She smiles down at me and let's me down, holding by my waist close to her body, chest against chest. She leans down slowly, brushing he fingers against my cheeks and presses her lips against my forehead.
Opening my eyes, not knowing I closed them, I look to see she is no where near me and is instead looking back at me from the road. While I'm still beside my house, on my grass. "Dude you coming?" She ask, as she gives a smirk.
I follow blindly behind her, wondering to myself if I just imagined that or....if it really happened.
She leads us to the park near my neighborhood, sitting down on the bench, I watch her. In the moonlight she looks ethereal, no longer a witch but a lost princess. Sitting beside her my thoughts start to swirl. "Hey Al," I call looking at her, she nods her head knowing I'm watching her. "Why...why do you-" I cut myself off not knowing if you should ask this question. She turns her head to look at me, eyes sharp, calculating. "Why do I what?" Her voice sounds guarded, and although she invited me out here, it seems like she wanted to be left alone.
"Why do you dye you're hair so much?"
I opt away from the question I wanted to ask. I wanted to know why she's on the news so much, why all the cops in our area know her, why her delinquent record was giving to all the teachers. But most importantly why someone like her decided to involve herself with me.
She laughs, throwing me off my train of thought. "Well I'm a mess emotionally and mentally so what better way to express that then dying my hair?"
"How about getting professional help?" I offer. She just laughs and looks up at the sky.
"Marisol." She calls, prompting me to look at her. "Yeah?"
"Did you realize you called me Al?" She ask, I look at her confused. Isn't that what she wanted me to call her.
