"Come on kids, get your trunks! Ron, Ginny, stay with me! Everyone got a trolley? Yes? Let's go then!" cried Molly as everyone got out of the car.
We all headed to the barrier in between platforms 9 and 10.
"Charlie, you first, then Percy!" said Molly. Charlie ran through the barrier, then Percy.
"Marlene, now you! Then Fred, then George!" said said as I ran towards the barrier, bracing for a collision, but instead I came through onto Platform 9 3/4.
I followed Charlie over to a space out of the way of the barrier, and we waited as the rest of the Weasleys came through.
"Come and say goodbye, and then get on the train!" said Molly, hugging Charlie, then Percy, then me, then the twins.
"Bye, mum!" called Charlie, and ran off to find his friends.
"Goodbye, mother." said Percy, walking onto the train to find Penelope Clearwater, no doubt.
"Bye, mum!" said the twins, waiting for me.
"Bye, Molly. Bye, Ron. Bye, Ginny." I said, giving them all hugs.
I ran after Fred and George and we hopped onto the train, waving as it pulled away from the station.
We dragged our trunks through the carriges until we found an empty compartment.
I slid the door open and we stepped inside, lifting our trunks up into the luggage racks above the seats.
Once we had done that, we all sat down, George on one side of the compartment, Fred and I on the other. I stretched my legs out across to the other side and sunk down in my seat.
"Well, this is comfortable." I said, taking my book out of my rucksack.
Fred and George both nodded in agreement as the compartment door slid open.
"Hey guys!" it was Lee Jordan, the boy from Diagon Alley.
"Lee!" I said, getting up and shaking his hand. "Nice to see you again! Take a seat!" I gestured to the empty seat next to George.
"Thanks! How are you guys?" he asked, lifting his trunk up into the luggage rack and sitting down.
"Good." said George. "That goes for all of us." he added, once he realised that I had started reading my book, with Fred reading over my shoulder.
The two of them talked until the lanterns came on. "We'll be there soon, we should probably change." suggested Lee.
We all agreed and got our robes down from our trunks, changing into them. After that, we all stared out of the window, all of us hoping to be the first to sight Hogwarts.

After the sorting hat had sung its song, Professor McGonagall got out a large piece of parchment from her robes.
"Now, when I call your name, you will be sorted into your houses. There are Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff." said McGonagall to the first-years.
"Black, Amber!" she said. A pretty girl with ginger hair walked up, and sat on the stool.
After a minute or so, the Sorting Hat made its decision. "GRYFFINDOR!" it yelled. The girl walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down among the clapping Gryffindor.
"Black, Lyra!" called McGonagall. Another girl with ocean blue hair, presumably Amber's sister, walked up and sat down.
A few moment later, the hat cried out, "GRYFFINDOR!" the girl grinned over in the direction of her sister and ran to the Gryffindor table, shaking hands with Charlie as Gryffindor table clapped and cheered.
