"Ok, children, come and get your Floo Powder!" said Molly.
Fred, George and I had gotten our Hogwarts letters yesterday and today we were all going to Diagon Alley.
I walked up to the pot next to the chimney and grabbed a handful of Floo Powder.
"Alright, who wants to go first?" asked Molly.
"Me!!" I yelled out, stepping towards the large fireplace. I threw the Floo Powder into the fire, stepped in and shouted "Flourish and Blotts, Diagon Alley!" very clearly.
I tucked my elbows in and shut my mouth and firmly. The warm green flames tickled my body as I caught brief glimpses into people's living rooms, then it all stopped and I was thrown out of the fire and into Flourish and Blotts.
I stood up and moved aside for the rest of the Weasleys to come through. I brushed ash off my cloak, then Fred came through.
I held out my hand and helped him up. Gradually, the rest of the family came through and Molly split us into groups.
"Ginny, Ron, you stay with me seeing as you don't need anything, Charlie, Percy, you two get your things. And then Fred, George, Marlene, you get yours." said Molly.
The twins and I set off in search of Madam Malkin's, the robe shop. We found it soon enough and stepped inside.
"Hello, children!" a woman said as we walked in, presumably Madam Malkin. "Hogwarts, I'm guessing?"
I nodded, and she showed us to some stools to stand on while she measured us. We stepped up onto them after taking our cloaks off.
One of the stools was occupied by a black boy with dreadlocks, who looked about our age.
"Hi there!" I said to him.
He turned to face me happily. "Oh, hi! I didn't see you there! What's your name?" he asked.
"Marlene Dursley." I replied.
"Fred Weasley." said Fred.
"George Weasley." responded George.
"Nice names, I'm Lee Jordan!" he said. "I'm guessing you guys are twins?" he asked, pointing at Fred and George.
"You bet!" they said together.
"Awesome!" whispered Lee.
Madam Malkin came over and started measuring me with her tape measure, as I stood still with my arms out.
"You look ridiculous!" snorted Fred, laughing at me.
"You'll look worse." I said honestly. "Trust me."
Lee sighed. "I wish I had siblings. Then I could make fun of them like you guys do."
"We're not actually siblings." I informed him. "I'm adopted."
"Yeah, I gathered that." he smiled. "It looks so fun."
"Well," began Fred. "You can be an honorary sibling of ours!"
Lee's eyes lit up. "Really?" he asked.
George nodded. "On one condition. You have to be a prankster." he said dramatically.
"Of course I am!" exclaimed Lee. "Hogwarts, here we come!"
Fred, George and I grinned at each other, knowing that we had just found our new, life-long best friend.

"All we need now is... wands." I said to the twins and Lee.
"Well then let's go find Ollivanders!" exclaimed Lee.
Lee followed us to the wand shop, and as the four of us walked inside, the bell above the door rang out, echoing inside the dusty shop.
"Hello?" George called out.
"Anybody home?" asked Fred. "We'd like to buy our wands!"
An old man with wiry white hair came out of the shadows. "Ahh, more Weasleys! Come, children, let me find you all the perfect wand." he said, his voice very quiet.
"You first, then shall we?" he said, taking Lee by the shoulders. "Which is your writing hand?"
"Erm, my right." replied Lee.
Ollivander hobbled over to a shelf and pulled out a box. He opened the box and handed the wand to Lee.
Lee gave it a wave, and a vase smashed. He quickly put it down on the counter.
"No matter..." said Ollivander, taking out another box. "Perhaps this one." he said, giving Lee the wand.
In Lee's hand, the wand produced golden dust. "Is it this one then, sir?" asked Lee.
"Yes, m'boy. Rowan wood, unicorn hair core, twelve inches, nice and supple." Ollivander informed Lee.
"Now, young man, your turn!" he said, taking George's shoulder. He grabbed a box from the back of the shop and hobbled back over, giving George the wand.
Once again, golden dust came from the tip of the wand. "Oak wood, dragon heartstring core, eleven and a half inches, surprisingly flexible." stated Ollivander.
"And now you-didn't I just do you?" Ollivander asked Fred.
"No sir, you did my twin." replied Fred.
"Ah, yes. I see." said Ollivander, getting a box.
After quite a few unsuccessful tries, Ollivander finally found Fred the perfect wand.
"Elder wood, phoenix feather core, fourteen inches, non-flexible." said Ollivander.
"Now for you, young lady." he said, turning to me.
It took about fifteen minutes for me, but finally Ollivander found mine.
"Fir wood, phoenix feather core, fourteen and a half inches, and surprisingly swishy flexibility." he stated.
"Thank you, sir." I said, picking up my other new things, and we all handed him our Galleons. We stepped outside and set off to find Molly.
"Oh, there's my parents, I've got to go now." said Lee as he spotted his mother and father. "It was nice meeting you all, see you on the train!" he called out as he ran over to his parents.
"He's cool." I concluded. "I like him."
Fred and George both nodded in agreement, then we went over to Molly to go back to the Burrow.
