"Hey."

Ellie said when she walked into the room again.

I honestly wouldn't have even heard her if I wasn't on such high alert for Corpse's arrival.

I turned my gaze from the continuous pages of songs I was working on to the taller woman.

She smiled at me for a moment before sighing and taking a seat beside me.

I looked at her pale freckled skin as she sat down with a frown on her face.

Her blue-ish green eyes really could make you feel extremely uncomfortable sometimes. "Yes?" I asked after looking away from her.

"Corpse is at the front door." She said softly.

I took in a deep breath and nodded, "Let him in."

She widened her eyes for a moment but did what i asked her to do nonetheless.

I began panicking as soon as she left to go let corpse inside the building.

I stood up from my writing desk and paced around the room until I moved myself into the sound booth in an attempt to sing out the anxiety.

"It's cold outside
Like when you walked out my life
Why you walk out my life?"

"I get like this every time
On these days that feel like you and me
Heartbreak anniversary"

"Cause I remember every time
On these days that feel like you and me-"

I was cut off by a voice coming in through the intercom inside the booth, "Heartbreak anniversary, do you ever think of me?"

I looked up knowing exactly who that voice belonged to.

It was smooth yet raspy. Very deep and ominous yet soft and angelic. It filled me with so much anxiety and still, somehow, made me feel immense amounts of comfort I didn't even know were possible.

"Hi." He said in a very breathy tone.

I tried to speak but all that kept coming out were sounds. Very embarrassing sounds.

I felt my whole body heat up as my face probably turned an intense shade of red.

I saw his eyes shrink and crows feet appear in the corner of his one eye that I could see indicating that he was smiling.

He had his signature eyepatch on and black face mask on so that was the on reason I knew for sure that he was smiling at me.

"Don't laugh." Were the first words that I uttered to him.

He on out began laughing more at the fact that I really would not get any words to come out properly.

"It's hilarious watching you try to speak when your anxious, doll."

The use of the old nickname he used to call me almost brought tears to my eyes. "I'm not anxious." I deadpanned.

He pulled off both of his facial coverings and I stared at him in disbelief.

He was even more good looking than before.

"You're playing with your rings and fidgeting with the bracelet I gave you. You're anxious, doll." He smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes and put my hands behind my back so I could continue doing so in peace without him seeing.

"Why did you want to see me." I asked after a few minutes of awkward silence.
