Jaime was with Bart in his room. Bart's parents and the team decided Bart should take a break from being Impulse until they stopped Quick Force. After they found Quick Force.
Bart had been staying in a lot, scared someone from Quick Force would jump him and activate his sleeper programming.
"Hermano," Jaime sighed. "This room is a mess. So not blitz."
"There are bigger things at hand then the tidyness of my room Hermano." Bart said.
The Impukse is right Jaime, Khaji-Da said sigh, Kora and Saharha said the same thing once.
Jaime sighed at the memory of his sister. Khaji-Da had aslo been close to her and her Scarab.
"Jaime," Bart said, suddenly serious. "I'm really scared."
"That is perfectly underst--" Jaime began.
"And I need to know something. My parents, the team...I love them, they're great and they are doing their best to help. But you...you make me feel safe. You know what I will become. Understand it. Know what I'll do. And you're still friends with me, my best friend." Bart said. "I...I really care about you and...and..." Bart couldn't say it, so he said something else, but just as true. "Promise me you'll be here. Promise me you won't leave me. When I need you, when Quick Force shows up, when...when I become..."
Jaime gently grabbed his face. Bart blushed.
"I will always be here for you Hermano." He promised.
