What Happens Next

Okay so this is five years in the future kind of explaining what is happening now! Enjoy:)

Louis - 27 years old

Zayn - 25 years old

Liam - 25 years old

Niall - 25 years old

Harry - 24 years old

Devan - 24 years old

Stephanie - 24 years old

"Got it?" Zayn asked his wife Lexi as he was grabbing the gift bags from the back seat of their car.

They had only been married for a few months and were still getting used to the "married life" but they loved each other and couldn't have been more happy together.

"Yeah babe." Zayn said back as he shut the care door with his foot and they began to make their way towards the entrance of the large home that was just outside of London.

"I can't wait to see everyone!" Danielle beamed as Liam parked the car on the street. 

The "One Direction Mania" had somewhat died down over the past few years, they had put out a total of four albums. They had decided to take a year off with all the big things going on in their lives, but one year turned into two and they weren't sure if they would ever go back to the way things were. They were still extremely well known throughout the world and still delt with the paps and fans on a regular basis but eventually they just kind of got used to it, the boys were still great friends as talked to each other all the time. They all were living great lives and all lived in smaller towns, after traveling around the world to all those big cities for so long it was nice to them to have a quiet home life.

"Me either sweetie, it's been to long since was all got together." Liam smiled.

They both got out of the car and Danielle grabbed the presents from the backseat while Liam helped their son Logan out of his car seat. He was two years old and Liam adored him just as much as the the small boy looked up to his father.

Logan and Liam held hands while the three of them walked up the pathway.

"Eleanor you look fine, can we go in now?"  Louis pleaded to his wife who was fixing her hair in the car mirror. "That Liam and Zayn's cars come on I want to see the boys!" 

"Okay let's go." She flipped up the mirror and opened the car door, Louis grabbed their things from the trunk while Eleanor picked up their three year old baby girl Emma. She had brown hair and light eyes just like her father. Louis and Eleanor got married four years ago when the boys were still the biggest thing in music and Eleanor got pregnant shortly after. Louis was traveling for the most of the first year of his daughters life which was tough on him  and Eleanor and they saw each other whenever they could and they made it work which Louis was extremely grateful for.

"Devan we are going to be late again!" Harry whined while they drove.

"I'm sorry! But do you know how long it takes to get ready when you're pregnant?" Devan responded raising an eyebrow at her husband of two years.

"No. I can gladly say I don't know that." He smiled at her.

"Uh huh now look who's being nice." Devan chuckled.

"Well I'm sorry I just don't want to be late! We haven't seen anyone since Lexi and Zayn's wedding! And this is a big day!" He said as they made the final turn onto the quiet street.

"It's the third one on the left Harry." Devan laughed when she noticed how slow Harry was driving and looking at the confused look on his face.

"Yeah I know." He responded as confidently as he could.

Nothing had really changed between them. They were still in love, Harry was still his same old cheeky lovable self. Devan was her normal loud, over-talkative, caring but extremely sarcastic self. They were now expecting their first child but they both already know they want more. After all they did have four sets of aunts and uncles to help them out.

"Okay c'mon." Harry said as he helped his wife out of the car.

They walked up the path to the house, Harry carrying a small stack of gifts, Devan rang the doorbell and they waited for an answer. 

"Devan!" Stephanie screamed as she opended the front door.

"Steph1" Devan yelled back they hadn't seen each other in months but had talked literally every single day like they always have.

They hugged the best they could without Devan's belly getting in the way.

"Harry!" Stephanie smiled as she wrapped her arms lightly around him after he put the presents down.

"Hey Steph!" He hugged her back.

They made their way into the kitchen where the rest of the boys and their wives were sitting.

"Hey everybody!" Devan smiled excitedly as she began to hug everyone hello. 

Logan and Emma were playing together in the other room, they were best friends just like all of their parents. 

"So where's the birthday boy?" Harry asked.

"He's taking a nap right now, you will see him later I promise." Niall laughed.

Harry had always loved babies that wasn't a secret, but this one was considered to be his un-official nephew. They were all there to celebrate the first birthday of NIall and Stephanie's son, Sean. They hadn't talked much about names while Stephanie was pregnant but when Niall suggested the name Stephanie had instantly agreed. She knew how much Niall loved his best friend and how much he missed him since he passed away over five years ago. That event also brought Stepanie and Niall closer so the name seemed to be a  perfect fit.

"That's him." Stephanie said about twenty minutes later picking up the baby moniter. 

Stephanie and Niall both excused themselves to go get the baby. 

"Hey buddy." Niall smiled as he opened the door and saw his son standing up in his crib. "Come on." he said picking him up out of the crib.

Stephanie and Niall dresse Sean and got him ready for his party going on downstairs.

"Oh my god." Lexi awed as they carried the baby into the kitchen.

Everybody was playing with the baby and then Emma and Logan came running into the kitchen.

"Emma you remember your cousin Sean, right?" Louis asked his daughter as he bent down to her hieght while hilding Sean.

She nodded her head yes and moments later Logan came running up to see what was going on.

"I can't wait to have one of our own." Harry whisphered to Devan who nudged him slightly.

Niall and Stephanie were holding hands as always, Louis was playing with the little kids, Zayn and Lexi were disagreeing about something and Liam was sitting with Danielle while giving everyone his advice.

Niall couldn't help but laugh at the sight of their "family" it was a crazy one but one that they all loved. 

"What are you laughing at Horan?" Devan smirked.

"It's just nice to see that nothing has changed." He smiled.

Everyone couldn't help but smile and agree, they would be there for each other through everything, the ups the down. The big events and even the small ones, but hey that's what family is for.
