Chapter 8

"So...." Stephanie said unaware of what they were going to do now.

"Well it's still warm now because the heat was on" Liam said cheerfully trying to make everyone feel a little better.

It didnt work.

"Yeah, but we don't know how long we're going to be here!" Niall said making everyone worry again.

"And it's just going to get colder in here!" Devan added.

They needed a plan and they needed one quick.

"Huddle for warmth?" Harry suggested kidding around

"Yeah!" Devan replied 

"Dev I was kidding" He looked at her like she was crazy.

"That's a stupid idea, I'm not doing that"

"Fine freeze, i dont care" She said getting up moving her blankets.

They set up the blankets like beds Zayn was with Stephanie again on one side of the room. Harry was on the other alone. Since there was only enough blankets for 3 beds Niall, Liam, Louis and Devan had to sleep on one together (in that order). Niall and Laim shared a blanket, Louis and Devan each had their own but all four were pressed up against one another.

It wasn't that bad when they were all together, it was like the penguins do in the winter.

*Stephanie's POV*

Holy shit it's freezing in this place. I shivered and moved under the blanket more. Zayn must have felt me move because I felt his strong arms wrap around me snuggling closer.

"Better" He whispers into my ear.

"Yeah" was all i could get out , his breath gave me goosebumps.

This was perfect, being snuggled up with him, feeling his chest rise and fall pressed up against my back.

I felt so safe, and began to shut my eyes. Maybe i can finally get some sleep.

*Zayn's POV*

I hope Stephanie isn't too cold. I can feel her moving closer, i put my arms around her pulling her closer to keep her warm.

"Better" I whispered trying not to sound as nervous as I am

"Yeah"  She said back 

God she was beautiful.  They way she snuggled into me, she smelled so good and- wait I have a girlfriend! 

Well kind of, but just because it isn't 100% real doesn't mean i could cheat on her! That's not fair.

I heard Stephanies relax in my arms as she drifted to sleep, this was such a great feeling I just want to stay like this forever.

*Narrator*

Zayn feel asleep, finally calming down because Stephanie was snuggled up to him, not anyone else just him and her like they were the other night.

Liam, Niall, Louis, and Devan had all fallen asleep also, warm because they were all wrapped up and snuggled together.

That only left one...Harry, they one who was to afraid to give in to the idea.

*Harry's POV*

Holy fuck! It's freezing! Thank god everyone else is asleep, im not giving in now. I'll show them that I can do this!

Okay maybe that isn't the reason why, I'm just too scared to be paired with Devan.

Wait why was I scared to be with her?! We're just friends right?

RIGHT! Oh my god! What am I thinking, I need to sleep, who am I kidding it's too fucking cold to sleep!

Shit someone's up. They're probably just going to the bathroom.

The toliet just flushed, yeah hopefully they will just going back to bed.

My teeth are chattering, I hope whoever is up can't hear me.

Shit they're walking this way.

I didn't move, well tried not too.

I felt someone's arms wrap around me and they're body pressed up against mine. God they were warm.

*Devan's POV*

Shit, of all times this is when i have to pee. Atleast I have my phone light to find my way to the bathroom. 

Finally I can go back to bed, what's that noise?

I giggled silently realizing it was Harry.

Haha let him suffer, he deserves it!

I tip toed back to were I was before and heard his teeth chatted again.

I couldn't do it! God why do I have to be nice sometimes?

I walked over to where Harry was laying and brought my blanket with me. I laided it on top of the one he already had and got under both with him, wrapping my arms around him and pressing up to the back of his body, god he was fucking freezing.

"You're welcome" I whispered into his ear knowing he was still awake, he didn't say anything back he just snuggled closer to me.

*Harry's POV*

"You're welcome" 

She knew I was awake, and that I was fucking freezing, I didn't say anything I just snuggled into her warm embrace.

All i can think of is her, a smile spread across my face when i truely hit me how we were laying and i grabbed onto her hand. I wonder what she's thinking about?

*Devan's POV*

God it's freezing! I'm fucking starving! When can we get food!

*Narrator*

They all eventually fell asleep, even Harry now that he had warmed up a little.

Liam and Niall were the first to wake up, they stayed under the blankets because the power was still out.

A few minutes later Louis woke up joining the boys.

"Well they look cozy don't they?" Louis said pointing to Zayn and Stephanie and then Harry and Devan.

Both boys had they're arms wrapped around either girl and were all cuddled up.

Finally Devan woke up and pushed Harry off of her not caring if she woke him up.

She said good morning to the other boys, then went to go wake up Stephanie. She knew Stephanie wouldn't be mad, but happy that she got to stay in Zayn's arms. Which was exactly what happened until finally everybody was awake.

They were all sititng under blankets, then the lights came on.

"Hallelujah!" Devan shouted throwing her arms up into the air.

Next thing they knew they heard someone walk through the door.

"Paul!" Niall yelled while running over to him.

"Come on guys get your stuff we need to go!" He informed everyone in his Irish accent.

They were all packed up and ready to leave when they noticed Zayn was missing.

"Don't worry I'll go find him! I want to make sure we didn't forget anything anyway!" She shouted walking back into the building, to everyone waiting at the van with Paul. The van they had brought was covered in snow.

"Zayn?" 

"Zayn?!" Devan yelled walking throught the building 

She heard him talking but couldn't exactly hear what he was saying, she walked a little closer.

"Zayn we have-" She stopped talking when she finally reached him.

 He was facing the other way and didn't notice her walk up behind him.

"Perrie? I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore."
