[Felix POV]

"hello, I'm Doyun." the pale boy smiles at me, "we'll be training with each other."

"okay!" I smile, "whats your talents?"

"Vocals and dancing." he tells me, "What about you?"

"Rapping, a little bit of vocals." I say.

"thats cool." he says, "we go to the same school... we should study together."

"that'd sound good." I smile, him giving me a shocked face, "...what?"

"you speak English?" he asks.

"yeah... my Korean isn't that good yet so sorry-"

"I do too." he says, "where are you from?"

"Australia. what about you?" I ask.

"New York. I had lived there until I was twelve so my English is pretty good." he answers.

"why didn't you ever tell me??" chan asks doyun, catching me off guard because of his strong, thick Australian accent.

"It's ..." Doyun says, uncomfortable to answer, "I have trauma from there."

"oh." both chan and I say in sync.

"but now you guys know!" doyun says.

"then how come Jisung..?" chan asks doyun.

"he didn't go with me." Doyun says, "he went to Malaysia."

"how come he didn't go with you?" chan asks doyun.

"we were split up." doyun says.

"why?" I ask.

"our parents died. we got put into adoption. I was adopted by someone, they moved to New York, Jisung was adopted by someone, they moved to Malaysia." he says, "can we change the conversation?"

"yeah." chan says, "when's exams?"

"in a couple months, maybe three." he answers, "hey Felix."

"yeah?" I answer.

"do you want me to help you out on your Korean?" he asks.

"yes!!" I say, "I really need some help on it."

"okay. what do you know so far?" he asks.

"um... basics?" I answer.

"okay then." he sighs, "guess we'll start tomorrow in the library. sounds good?"

"yes." I answer.

[One Week Later, Hyunjin POV]

I enter the bus, one person looking at me weirdly so I look back at them weirdly. I sit down on a bus seat in the back, the one person still looking at me observingly and weirdly.

the fuck is up with them?

I shake my head and sigh, then get off the bus when it's my stop, the person following behind me.

"Excuse me, sir!" they ask me, I then turn around to face them.

"yes?" I ask.

"Would you like to audition for JYPE?" they ask.
