Let's seek self-acceptance...
We love the facade
And run from the reality
We say we love ourselves
Yet we get lured by the fake beauty of this world
****(No offense!!)
Nowadays we love to fake things. We love using filters...yesh! don't we?
We go for different sorts of things just because we wanna look good and feel good?Really can we learn to love ourselves by only using filters?
Is this the ONLY way to express self-love?If loving ourselves mean opting for temporary limelight instead of cherishing what we already have?!
I am not someone to point anyone wrong or right.I have gone through these phases adhering to some realizations.
What does choosing colors, makeup, dress, shoes, etc has to do with my happiness and I.
Why people have to love my flawless skin and not my pimple-filled skin?
Because beneath the skin, It IS ME AGAIN!!Why can't I be appreciated for what I feel comfortable with and why I am supposed to wear what's in style?
Why can't I be accepted the way I am, the way I look and feel? You might say "Gosh, get a life--it is none of your business!"
or
I might hear"Shoot! don't get your nose into others' matters!"
Yeah, quite right!
Nevertheless, it is not my business or my place to say what to do and what not to do--however, when I see people hiding their true self under temporary rays of beauty I just can't take it.
How can you run away from your own true self and disapprove of your body and skin?
My life, my choice??
Ah, yes your life but since when did you start running away from reality and opted for fake stuff?
Shouldn't it be your choice to accept your true self? Shouldn't it be you who should embrace herself and do things for solely them but not for the fear of rejections or proving someone something?!
Shouldn't your message be"It is okay to have flaws! It is okay to enhance your beauty!"
Black, white, brown, etc, etc, all these terms have nothing to do with you being a human.
They don't define you as a human being!
Not at all!
You are DASH colour so you are good, oh you are DASH colour so you are bad?!... You must be joking!
Insane!
But, sadly we do see all this around!
Obviously, the color of your skin is not yo!... You are what you have in your heart and through your actions. Know yourself, tell yourself to not fall for the temporary beauty of the world and people.
Embrace the reality, and do not run from it.

Amina, having a pure heart, a hard-working girl still faced rejection by her family and society because she was just a simple-looking girl.
No one admired her for what she had but everyone kept emphasizing and chanting over things she didn't have; fair skin, healthy body, and a style. All that peer pressure led her towards a step; a transition from being what Amina really was to someone she never wanted to be but had to--because of the societal pressure.
Yes! She went for surgeries of kinds to make people shut their mouths and accept what they wanted to really accept. You tell me who was at fault?
Amina?? or Society??
---
Elysha, a blunt girl, bold and beautiful--but no one liked this Elysha. Because she also lacked things; she was neither a decent nor a silent one.
And this pressure led her to commit suicide after adapting to a dark lifestyle.
Whose mistake again??---
Tina, a girl, who does know her weaknesses, and doesn't let societal pressure harm her mental peace. She is okay with what she has, and the way she lives...Nothing makes her mind swift away from what she wants and needs.
Because she knows what's on her list and seeks to know more.
She knows her worth and so not buys the fake stuff around.Tina doesn't use filters, because she wants to and not because "people want her to."
She sometimes does go for the filter, because she likes to and doesn't care about "what will people say about her normal pictures, her face and the way she looks with and without filters."
No fear of what will people say. No fear of rejection just because she was too loud or silent. Not scared of people's comments over her body shape--and the reason being her self-acceptance.
Yes!!
She has accepted herself with all her flaws and imperfections...and she is okay with them.
That's the reason she is able to cope-up with any sort of stress. We all are Amina and Elysha...yes...we do get affected by people; of course the society! At some point we have had suicidal thoughts over what people said, how did they react and what did they make us feel.
We all share suffering much like Amina and Elysha but over path shouldn't choose death over freedom, and rebel over happiness. We have to walk towards accepting ourselves with every bit of flaw.
So for us, it is a long way to learn the magic of self-acceptance. It is a crumbly path but does pertain to a beautiful destination.
Cherish yourself and your existence
And stay persistent
because it is a magic
that will help you
lead a wonderful life----
