I mentally prepared myself. Ok, just like what Fran and Anne told me.

“Seduce him...Make him fall in love with you soooooo much that he can’t help but ask first. Tempt him...” they said.
“Tempt him with what? How do I make him fall in love me?”
“Ya know, your womanly assets.” Anne winked at me. “A virile man at his age can barely resist the temptation of a woman.”
I drank the thick FranAnneAh shake. It tasted like strawberries, banana, chocolate, and something else... “Ummmm...”
“Just go for it deary and if you can’t, then just ask him directly.” Fran encouraged gently. “Anne! She’s only 15!”
“Whaaaat?” she whined. “She has the assets! Let her use them!! Unlike you, you didn’t have anything to tempt a man with at her age!” Anne teased.

Ugggg! How do I seduce a man with my ‘womanly assets’? I don’t want to look like a prostitute. I continued to work on my bio lab. I love biology, but I hate labs. I finally finished the lab when my phone made a buzz. A text from Marla.

Oh Marla. At least she told me that Luke was coming up. Womanly assets, womanly assets...This is probably not gonna work out very well. I cleaned up the lab and got my bags. I opened the door to see Luke standing right in front of it awkwardly.
“Ummmmm, hi Luke.” I lost my thoughts. He was playing with his shirt again. Womanly assets, womanly assets.
“Gah! Oh, hi Lee. Umm.. how are you?” Ummmm, uh...what do I say??? I stepped closer because my body decided to attempt at doing the womanly assets thing.
“Ok. How are you?”
“Pretty good. Umm.. I was wondering...” he paused. I noticed nobody was around to stare at our awkwardness. Good. I prepared myself to ask him about his feelings, since I couldn’t bring myself to go beyond the womanly asset of stepping close.
He wrung his blue shirt to the point of irreversible wrinkles.
“Doyouwanttomaybecatchamoviewithmeafterschooltoday.” What? What did he say?
“What?”
“Do you want to watch a movie with me this afternoon? There’s one showing that I think you might like, and the soundtrack is really good.” I haven’t seen a movie in a long time, but I remembered something.
“Ummmm...aren’t your parents coming home today?”
“They get in pretty late tonight, so there’s no rush.”
“Ok.” I said immediately. I didn’t even know I could respond that fast.
“Great! Umm, I’m not recording today, so do you want to head out together after school later maybe?” What about Fran and Anne?
“Ummm, I have to work first...but you could maybe come over to the library and wait for a while.”
“Sure! What time do you get off work?”
“Around 6”
“Great, there’s a showing at 6:30! Is that okay?” I nodded a little too enthusiastically.
