"Percy. Percy wake up. Percy Jackson get up! PERCY JACKSON GET UP OR I WILL HELP THE STOLS BOOBYTRAP OUR CABIN!!!" Percy sat up with a glaring at Annabeth, "Ok, Ok, Wise girl I am up!"
"About time, the new campers are going to be here in a hour and you look like.... well, thaaaaaaat." She side while waving her arms around Percy's hair. " Ok give me 2 min i will meet you at the dining pavilion."
"Good!" And with that she left.
--- 2 minutes and 23 seconds later ---
"Hey wise girl" Said Percy as he walked into the dining pavilion.
"Two minutes and 23 seconds! That's a new record! Now hurry up! We need to get some food in ya and head to the big house for a council meeting. Chiron told me that he will give us some info on the new campers and their situation?" Annabeth phrased the last part slightly as a question, not sure herself.
"Wonder what that means. They're just new campers...right?"
"Yeah well, if you didn't move with the speed of a sloth, we might know. So hurry up!!" Annabeth said tossing some bread to Percy.
--- 7 minutes and 37 seconds later ---
"Took you long enough, we have been here for FOOOOOOOOREAVERRRRRR!" Clarisse wined.
"Thank You for joining us Mr. Jackson" Chiron said as he gave a slight glare towards Clarisse. "Now as you might not already know, this meeting is to discuss seven new campers. These new, errrrr, um how should I put this..." Chiron drew out "Hey as long as they aren't monkeys we have no problems from us! We already made an exception with the stols-"
"We will get you for that Annabeth!" Someone shouted, interrupted Chiron's rather intriguing speech. Before Annabeth could respond, Chiron cut in, "please save it till later, as I was saying, this is an interesting case. These children are not Half bloods nor are they human.... they're elves." Chiron released a small sigh.
"Elves!?" Percy, called out with a look of confusion. "Elves aren't real."
"But they are Percy. And last I knew, you didn't believe Half bloods were real but look where you are now. Anyways, you see, the elves and four other species of intelligent creatures used to live in harmony until the elves found out that the humans were plotting to take over the world. So the elves decided to simply disappear. Long story short, the elves have lived in hidden cities - that they call the Lost Cities - and estates for the past 3000 years."
There was a clink, where the only sound was the washing machine in the room over. Then, after a moment, everyone started rapidly asking millions of questions. "SILENCE!" Chiron yelled. "We don't have much time. So this is the basic of the elves we will be protecting. First off, why we are protecting these children... recently a rebel group called The Neverseen of elves has suffered, and these children are working with another group called the Black Swan to bring them down. The reason these children need protection is cause the public loves them and if these children are killed the public will be devastated. So a friend of mine called in a favor and I agreed to allow these children a safe place to stay here at camp."
"The children's names are Sophie, Keefe, Fitz, Biana, Dex, Marella, Tam, and Linh. There was going to be two more but they refused. All of these children have a power...or five. Sophie can enhance other people's abilities, speak any language, inflict, read minds, And teleport. Keefe can read emotions, Fitz can read minds, Biana can vanish, Dex Is a technopath aka he has a knack for tech. Marella can control fire, Tam can control shade, And Linh can control water." Everyone looked astonished. Leo looked excited to have another pyrokinetic. Percy was excited to have another hydrokinetic and they were all shocked by Sophie.
"I want Fitz and Biana to go to Apollo's cabin, Dex and Maralle to go to Hepatitis's, Keefe goes to Aphrodite's cabin. Tam goes to Hades's, Linh goes to Poseidon's, and Sophie goes to Athena's." Everyone nodded. "Okay also all elves are Tellacanetics."
"When does the list stop!" Clarisse butted in. A chorus of snickers followed. Suddenly from outside there was shouting. "Aah it appears that are new campers are here."
