Percy's POV
Me and Wise girl stepped forward after the blonde girl who's name, I think is Sophie, after she gave her address. She seemed to be the leader of the group and gave off a powerful aura.
"Welcome! My name is Percy and this is my girlfriend Annabeth. Chiron decided to split you guys up amongst the cabins. Fitz and Biana go to Apollo, Dex and Marella go to Hepatitis, Tam goes to Hadese, Linh goes to Poseidon, Keefe to Aphrodite, and Sophie goes to Athena."
I saw them look at eachother and pair off into the cabin groups. while they were taking the moment to adjust I took the moment to study them. They were all extremely good looking with different shades of blue eyes. All except Sophie who had those deep brown eyes with gold flecks that seemed to take in everything.
They were all dressed strangely and wore capes. If I remember correctly, the Romans said that wearing a cape was a sign of high class or nobility in most civilizations. Sophie wore a red tunic embroidered with gold flowers and a pair of black leggings with black heeled boots. She had on a black cape but it had red and gold flowers along the bottoms slowly fading towards the middle. All though, not plainly obvious... she clearly had a good stash of weapons hidden in pockets along her sleeves and pants. Suspected she had a fue daggers as well as a large amount of throwing stars
That Boy (see what I did there?) named Keefe had on a pair of brown boots with a ice blue tunic and a white cape. The dude named Fitz had on a teal tunic with silver buttons and a black cape. The girl named Biana had on a purple dress with strands of silver woven in, with a silver cape. Next to her the two, who I assumed were twins, had on similar outfits with the boy having a black and silver color scheme and the girl having a turquoise and silver color scheme. The two kids going to Hepatitis looked like the exact opposites. While the girl had on a yellow and orange tunic with copper clasps, black boots, and black leggings, the boy had on an outfit with completely different shades of blue and leather straps holding various tools on his legs.
Keefe said something strange in a language causing Sophie to roll her eyes and playfully shove him. Annabeth took the moment to introduce herself to Sophie and the others followed. Let the tours begin.
Sophie POV
A tall blonde girl with gray eyes that seemed to be calculating my every move, stepped forward. "Hi I am Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."
"Hello my name is Sophie, I am guessing you are going to show us around?"
"Yup" She replied, popping the "p". "Let's go!" She was clearly eager to show me around the campsite. A few others took that as the cue to step up and branch out with my friends.
"Let's drop your stuff off at the cabin and get you changed into some more appropriate clothing." She pulled me towards a stone cabin with owls carved into the walls.
We reached the doors and she pulled them open. Inside were bunks lining the walls with chests at the end. In rows towards the back were shelves full of books. Towards the middle were tables scattered with pens, papers, and other tools. Off to the side, were a few sets of doors that I assumed led to the bathroom and showers.
She pulled me towards a free bunk and gestured towards it. "The others will be back in around 5 minuts for the reading hour. Inside the chest are a few pairs of clothing."
"Thanks", I opened a nearby chest to reveal a few shirts and pairs of jeans with "CHB" written on it in a Greek.
"So can you tell me about your home?" She asked hopefully.
"Sure! So to start, I live in an animal rehabilitation preserve called Havenfield. It is by the ocean with a cliff off the edge. My adopted parents' jobs are to help tend to the animals before we are able to send them to the sanctuary. We have everything from tigers to dinosaurs-"
Her Jaw dropped at that. "DINOSAURS! What do they look like? What do they eat? What Is there diet like? What is their size?"
I let out a laugh. "I'll tell you all about that later. Right now, I need to get ready." I closed the trunk and took out the clothing that they gave me. "Give me one minute."
After I changed, I put my daggers on my waist and a few throwing stars in my pockets and boots, I put away everything except my family crest. I then pinned the crest to my sleeve. "I'll tell you more later as we walk.
I did it! I got over my laziness! This one is kind of a filler but I have the next chapter planned out and things will get better. Thankyou, A.K for editing this for me.
