Wren’s POV

I lay in the darkness with the comforts of a large bed, a fluffy pillow, warm blankets, and a bare-chested Corey. It could’ve been heaven, and if it weren’t for the visit from Aunt Flow, I would’ve thought it was. By the way, random question, are there periods in heaven?

Not that I believe in heaven, just… you know what never mind.

As I was saying, I was laying on the cloud-like bed, thinking about our conversation. How could someone as beautiful and angel-like as Corey be a monster? No, he’s not a monster, he’s something else… There was no way to classify my kidnapper, he couldn’t be some demon from hell, not with those gorgeous eyes of his. But he couldn’t be an angel either, he’s not perfect. He has his flaws, but I’m willing to accept them if he’s willing to accept mine. I sigh, thinking about Corey. There was so much pain and sorrow hidden behind that brick wall of his. It seemed like I would be the only that would have the dynamite powerful enough to break through it.

Content with my thoughts and new determination, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

The gorgeous boy beside me groaned, and rolled over. On top of me. With a bare chest. And his adorable bed hair. He nuzzled his head into my boobs, as if they were his pillow. Staring down at Corey, I poke his dimple on the side of his cheek, and giggle when murmurs incoherent things. It seemed like he was still asleep, but I knew better. However, I let him snuggle with my breasts for a while, and plaited braids with his hair. Surprisingly, the stayed in his shaggy hair, but they would come undone if he shook his head.

After I braided most of his hair and stopped touching his scalp, Corey opened his eyes and look at me with big, sleep-filled blue eyes.

“Why’d you stop?” he whined. I stared at his hair amusingly. His eyes widened even further and he let go of me with one hand to touch his head, eyes narrowing. Giggling, I tear myself from his clutch and run towards the door. But with his stupid supernatural speed, he caught me and pulled me back to the bed, arms wrapped around me like a prison. “I’ll never let you go,” he grins. Somehow, it felt like there was a double meaning behind that phrase. But I smiled anyway, determined to be happy with Corey and heal what’s behind those walls. He leans down to press a kiss to my lips, but I pull away. He pouts, but I can tell that he’s hurt.

“Sorry, morning breath,” I say, my smile widening. His grin is back, and he looks so beautiful with a happy expression on his face with the sun shining through the window behind him…

Stop daydreaming, Wren!

I tear my gaze away from his gorgeousness, and pad over to the bathroom, when I hear a growl from the bed. I freeze, suddenly realizing my attire. I had to borrow some of Corey’s mom’s clothing, and the only things I could find that fit me were a tank top and booty shorts. I don’t even want to know why she has a pair. Shuddering from my thoughts, I turn around and look innocently at the man lying half-naked in the bed.
