Merder before Addison

Chapter 3

I woke up and he rubbed up the sides of my body. I groaned. He wrapped his legs in between mine and I moaned.

"You have to get up" I groaned rubbing his back from behind

"Mmm I like it here" he said burying his head into my back

"Derek" I moaned

"Fine" he said rolling over me

"Ow" I smiled

He got off the bed and wiped his eyes. I got up and he fell back onto the bed.

"I'm up" he said shaking a little bit

I laughed a little because he fell asleep and fell onto the bed. We both got dressed for work. We walked out of the house and drove to the hospital. We walked in and split off. I changed into my scrubs and was paged to-

Addison

She wanted me on her service today. I walked up to the OB floor and went to her. Derek was talking to her.

"You paged" I asked

"Meredith" Derek said

"I'm sorry" he said walking away

"Enough about him. I need you on my service today. We are delivering twins and I had a lot of recommendations for you" she said

I nodded

"Come with me" she said

I followed her to the patient's room.

"This is Katie she is having twins and we have to do a c section" she said

I read her chart a little and went over to Addison.

"How does this feel" Addison said pushing a little on the patients side

"I mean it doesn't feel the best" Katie said

"Ok we will get you prepped for your c section as soon as possible" she said

We walked out of the room

"Go do the pre ops" she told me

I nodded and went to check the patients vitals. I wrote her stats in my charts. I had a little break in between prepping. It was about 3 hours. I went into an on call room and laid down on the bottom bunk bed. I fell asleep and woke up to a voice

"Meredith" he whispered

I opened my eyes

"Derek" I asked

He walked in and shut the door. I walked over to me and smiled

"What" I said groggily

"I've been looking everywhere for you. Addison had to leave. She told me to let you know she took a flight to California, she tried paging you but your beeper was off" he said

"I have the day off" I asked

"Yes" he said

I got up and walked over to him. I pecked his lips and hugged him.

"Do you want to have a lunch date" he asked

"Yeah that sounds lovely" I smiled

We walked down to the cafe I grabbed an apple because I wasn't that hungry. I sat at a table and ate a little bit of my apple. Derek came over and sat next to me. We both ate our food.

"Okay well I'm gonna go I'll see you at home" I said to him because I was exhausted

"See you too" he said walking over to me

He kissed my lips. No one was looking. He backed away and I started smiling. I turned around and walked down to the lobby. I walked out of the hospital and drove home. I walked in and went upstairs. I turned the shower on. I undressed and took a quick shower. I started fixing my hair and wrapped a towel around my body. I walked out of the bathroom and went over to the bed. I fell on the bed and went to sleep. I felt someone wrap their arms around me. I put my hand on his chest when he pulled me close. I fell back to sleep. I woke up and looked up at him.

"Hi I brought food" he smiled

"Food" I said getting excited

He took the bag that was on the floor next to him. He put it on the bed.

"I'll be back I'm going to take a shower, but you can dig in if you want" he smiled

I nodded and he walked into the bathroom. He shut the door. I got up and took my towel off. I put panties and one of Dereks button up shirts on. It was light blue. I buttoned it and rolled the sleeves up a little. I laid back onto the bed and got under the covers. I took the food boxes out of the bag and put them on the bed. He got Chinese. I grabbed the orange chicken and silverware. I started eating. I moaned because of how good this is. He walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist. I started biting my lip reactively

"Don't worry I will make sure you get dessert tonight" he smirked

I laughed and kept eating the orange chicken

"Well I'm glad I got two" he said

He put his boxers on and climbed into bed. He took his orange chicken and started eating it. After we were done we ate fried rice and egg rolls with some water. After we were done I got up. I put the empty food boxes in the bag. I brought it downstairs and threw them away. I grabbed a wine glass and poured a little bit of wine in it. I sat on the counter top taking sips of my glass. I stayed there for a little while until I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. We started walking towards me.

"Hey I wanted to make sure you are alright" he said

"Yeah I'm fine" I smiled

I drank the rest of my drink and got off the counter.

"You and me upstairs 5 minutes" I whispered as I walked past him running my finger across his chest

I walked upstairs and went into my bedroom. I got under the covers and accidentally fell asleep. I felt hands on my shoulders and he kissed my cheek. I rested my head back into his chest and fell asleep again.

Idk where this story is going but I'll try to think of some chapters😭😭
